In the pixar wiki it says it’s an adult joke (the article contains a spoiler though), but at first I didn’t see anything adult about it. It may of been thanks to my brother that I found the joke in it:

An ascot is actually a type of tie/neckband that’s generally worn by men (though women can wear it too), so I don’t think this really constitutes as an adult joke. Though I can understand how other people would misinterpret this word as if Barbie is really saying “ass.”
Not to seem rude, but…that’s the entire point of the joke, as most teenager film nerds can tell you.

It’s a sexual innuendo, and it’s funny BECAUSE of how sly it is. If it was explicitly sexual, all the cutesy charm would be lost. That’s why the gag gets such big laughs at the theaters.
I got the joke and laughed the minute I saw the preview. I can understand how it’d go over your head of your 10 and under, though.
Not a single person laughed when I went to see it in the cinema, and that includes myself. I get the joke, but despite its slyness I don’t think it’s particularly funny and neither did any of my friends who saw the film with me. But yes, it’s an under the radar (barely) sexually implicit joke.
No one laughed at my theater either, but my theory is because they heavily over used this joke in the marketing for it. I actually did laugh when I first saw it in the trailer, but now its like, enough already.
That TV tropes site also mentions another dirty joke, which I had wondered about but didn’t think anybody else had noticed - check it on that page, it’s about Lotso removing Mrs Potatohead’s mouth…
I thought it was mildly humorous at first, but as had been pointed out, because they decided to stick that scene into almost every single clip and trailer released, It had worn out it’s welcome weeks before the film even hit theaters.
The first time I saw the movie, a couple people laughed, but beyond that, it never has. More people laugh at the moment just prior to that where Barbie and Ken see each other for the first time.

which i found to be quite dirty…it might be also refering to prison in a way also.
I didn’t really see it as an “adult” joke.
I just took it at the “child-friendly” level being that they’re both obsessed with fashion.
Plus, even though it’s a technical point, at that time I think Barbie had only seen Ken from the “front” so I’m not sure she had even seen his rear-end to be able to comment on whether it was “nice” or not.
It was a great use of a multi-level joke. Barbie and Ken played out the whole film as a multi-level joke. The hints of Ken’s flamboyant nature. The belief that Barbie is unintelligent. They exist in the film for comedic relief through contradiction.

The thing about Mrs Potatohead’s mouth…
a lot of those are either A, so plainly obvious they even get a mention in the comentaries of the movies, or B, trying too hard to see something that’s not there.
I don’t see the taking the mouth line as something dirty. its just a joke about how she talks too much. kinda like saying no one’s allowed to make fun of her, except him, because they love each other.

I’ve looked through everyone’s posts, and it seems no one’s being rude yet (in my opinion), but yeah, try to keep it kid-friendly. 
Yeah, I see what you mean. I got it when I first saw the trailer. But I know if I was 10 years younger I wouldn’t understand! I’ve been rewatching a lot of cartoon shows from when I was younger, and now am getting a lot of the adult jokes that flew right over my head! (thanks Rocko’s Modern Life).
Anyway, that’s one of my favorite lines in the movie, but I didn’t laugh at it in theaters because I had already heard it a few times watching the trailers.
