Mater and the Ghostlight

What else could they put in there? Unless they did

more with the “Screamin’ Banshee”, I can’t think of what they’d do with an extra two minutes.

Although, knowing Pixar, I’m sure they could have come up with something.

Completely agree.
Not to be a party pooper,

but I didn’t think Mater and the Ghostlight was all that great.
My favorite DVD

short is still Mike’s New Car.

Mater and the Ghostlight was okay in my opinion. I liked the idea of the cars characters in

it, but not really my kind of short.

This was a great short film. The

ending with the Banshee was especially good. Loved it!

That was funny when he scared L and when he scared S  I was laughing my head off!

 Intrestingly enough I never thought there would be a time where Sally freaked out. :confused:What do yall

think?

Actually I thought Sally was more surprised than anything

else. I love Lightning’s line “I hope Mater doesnt jump out and scare me, cause I’ll freak out” it is

quite an amusing short

Oh, man! I loved this short! When Mater jumped off the

roof or whatever to scare Lightning…hehehe…but I got scared myself! Funny how that works huh?

That part freaked me out! I was ike, HOLY

COW!!! That made me jump off of my couch.

Something I relized in this short, Lightning AND Mack staed in RS! Hm…I think he

liked it too!

i know this is a little late , but i always thought they got the idea after

the story . While they all went to bed quickly ( maybe they were scared too ) , Lightning got the idea , quickly

rushed to casa della tires , and told guido the idea .

I always got the impression that the whole

thing was planned already. Including the ghostlight story. Of course, Lightning & Guido had an extra hand in

it, but I thought that was all agreed upon beforehand…

gottalovepixar - Heheh – well, Lightning sure must have

planned it pretty quickly then, in that case. I think that it was already pre-planned, as

lennonluvr9 stated; it would make more sense. Plus, it might not have been just

Lightning who had the idea; he and Guido had the main part in it, sure, but I think all (or most) of the

residents of Radiator Springs wanted to get back at Mater for freaking them out.

I think not all of them rushed to

bed. I think they were all in on this.

Mater And The Ghostlight was darn

hilarious. :sunglasses:

…Did any of you notice something about Ramone’s paintjob in the short film? It was his

usual thing at the beginning, when Sheriff was telling them all about the Ghostlight - and then later when they

were watching Mater drive around screaming, it had changed straight to blue… at least I think it had, anyway. I

can’t remember. Was it the same? I’ve only seen the thing twice.

Pixel Candy: What do

you mean by normal paint job? I thought he was blue the entire time.

He was? O.o; Oh… never mind

then.

But then again Pixel Candy, I don’t know. I have only seen it once, and all I can

rember is Ramone’s blue paint job after they attached the lantern on to Mater.

Mm, because I thought he had his usual purple-and-yellow

flame paint job before that part. But eh.

To clear this whole matter up: - I’ve watched

Mater and the Ghostlight about five times, and I can safely say that Ramone was

wearing his blue paint job the whole time.

Ah, thanks for the

clarification.
