Well, this is a favorite quote, and I donât think it is
a spoilerâŠ
âAnyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great.â
So far, I love the quote, "Donât
look at me like that! Youâre the one who is getting fancy with the spices!"
Heheh â you beat me
to it, Maggie! ![]()
I suppose I am allowed to post spoiler-related content
here? Ah yes, you mentioned to place tagsâŠif needed. Well then, I shall proceed to release the spoiler tags:
[b]My favorite line of (exchanged) dialogue in the
film:[/b]
[spoil]âWhere are you going?â - Django
"With luck,
forward." - Remy[/spoil]
[b]My favorite humorous line in the
film:[/b]
[spoil]âWelcome to hell.â - Skinner to
Linguini[/spoil]
[b]My favorite sentimental/âpoeticâ line in the
film:[/b]
âAnyone can cook, but only the fearlessâŠcan be great.â - Auguste
Gusteau
[b]My favorite momentary deliveration in the
film:[/b]
[spoil]Anton Egoâs little summary/review/speech at the end of the film,
in which he compares the difference in taste between the viewpoints of a criticâŠand those of an artist. It is
simply beautiful â beautifully told and wonderfully and sentimentally
illustratedâŠ[/spoil]
In short, however, you could just say that I lavished in the entire
movie. ![]()
Haha, I know Iâm gonna have fun
making more sigs and stuff when I get to know the movie better! ![]()
There
was one quote that Colette said that I thought was funny. It went along the lines of, "We donât mean to be
rude, but weâre French." ![]()
(Hey look - Jessieâs back now that shes seen the movie)
âŠ
I donât know about you guys ⊠and Iâm not going to put it as a spoiler cause I donât think it really
says anything ⊠but ⊠this was the best quote âŠ
"I KILLED a man ⊠with THIS
thumb!"
and
"I once held up the second biggest bank in France with only a ballpoint
pen!"
<3 X)
Did anyone catch when Brad Birdâs character was speaking?
JesusFreak - Oh yeah, youâre gonna love it. That Skinner line was an absolute classic. The look on his face when he said it was hilarious⊠![]()
Aggie - I love that line. And it makes perfect sense! (No offense to the FrenchâŠ) ![]()
Jessie - That line was hilarious. And welcome back! ![]()
Oh! I forgot about another great line from Colette. I donât exactly remember how it went, by I do know that she saidâŠ
[spoil]âŠâor I will kill you!ââŠ[/spoil]
âŠat the end. Hee heeâŠ
Another great, funny exchange of dialogue:
[spoil]âOhhhâŠyou gotta taste this! Itâs like aâŠba-BOOM!! AndâŠand aâŠPa-SCHEERR!!! WhatâŠwhatâŠwhat would you call it?â - Remy
âLightning-y?â - Emile
âItâs lightning-y!!!â - Remy[/spoil]
Heheh. I might have gotten that last setence wrong there in that first quote of Remyâs. Cute stuff, though. ![]()
Mitch - Oh yeah I love Coletteâs lines ⊠so much of the time they really came on in such an unexpected way ⊠like wouldnât you expect her to say ⊠oohh [spoil]I will hurt you![/spoil] instead? But nope ⊠she goes for the blunt and possibly truthful statement! ![]()
And [spoil]Remyâs little rant about standing up in order to keep from having dirty hands.[/spoil]
![]()
I LOVE Linguiniâs whole [spoil]drunken speech:
âHey! Why do they call it that? Ratatouille. Itâs like a stew, right? Why do they call it that? If youâre gonna name a food, you should give it a name that sounds delicious. Ratatouille doesnât sound delicious. It sounds like âratâ and âpatootyââŠrat patooty, which does NOT sound delicious.â[/spoil]
![]()
[spoil]âKeep your station clean, or I will kill you!â[/spoil]
Haha.
~~=oP
Jessie - Yeah, the way Coletteâs character was displayed and developed surprised me. I wasnât sure how they were going to convey her firey emotions and free-willed personality, but I must say that they did a wonderful job of doing it. Colette has to be one of my favorite characters now.
PV - Oh man, that speech had me cracking up.
[spoil]Rat âpatootyâ.[/spoil]
![]()
Yeah, thatâs it! Thanks. Heheh. ![]()
I also love it whenâŠ
[spoil]âŠLinguini is trying to get his bike into his crummy apartment.
âFreakinâ⊠Argggh!â - Linguini
[/spoil]
My sister and I were cracking up⊠(snigger)
Hereâs one:
[spoil]Skinner: Welcome to hell![/spoil] ![]()
Bill-Yeah, I laughed pretty hard when he said that!
Bill - That is the best line in the whole film! ![]()
I agree! I was like âwoah!â when I heard that. Haha, I hope there are fans of Skinner out there! ![]()
Aggie - I had that exact same reaction. Itâs amazing what you can get away with in a G-rated film, heheh.
![]()
Aggie - Yeah, I was all taken aback by it, too! Skinner is now officially one of my favorite Pixar antagonists. Heâs hilarious. ![]()
âFlour, eggs, sugar⊠Mmm⊠Vanilla bean. Oh! A small twist of lemon!â - Remy
Gotta love his acute sense of smell.
[spoil]I love the interaction between that couple in the apartment, too:
âYou donât have the guts!â
(BLAM! SmoochâŠ) [/spoil]
HehehâŠ
I forgot all about that part, Mitch! I was the only one laughing when i saw it in the theater, thoughâŠ
JesusFreak - Really? The whole theater burst out laughing when I went to see it. It was hilarious! ![]()
It was such a short scene that itâs easy to forget, though. Heheh. ![]()
Mitch - When I was in the theater, nobody laughed at that.
