Memorable quotes

Ah yes - I can see that.

Yes it was

In that same scene (and in the trailer):

ā€œI hate to be rude, but we’re french!ā€ - Colette

I agree. When I heard Linguini utter that I thought, ā€œWoah. Linguini’s got bite.ā€ :stuck_out_tongue:

Gasduude - Haha – that’s a great line!

Here’s another great collection of interactive dialogue:

[spoil]ā€œWell, maybe I’m a different kind of rat.ā€ - Remy

ā€œMaybe…you’re not a rat at all!ā€ - Django

ā€œMaybe that’s a good thing!ā€ - Remy [/spoil]

:stuck_out_tongue:

Here my other fav:

[spoil]ā€œNow you take a break littel chef!!ā€- Linguini

ā€œAppetite is coming and he is going to have a big Ego!ā€- Linguini[/spoil]

Edited. Please remember to use spoiler tags. – Mitch

I love that quote but it’s actually

[spoil]ā€œOne can get too familiar with vegetablesā€[/spoil]

I just got back from watching the film, and, during the sequence where Linguini is slapping at Remy to keep him from crawling around in his shirt (or nipping him), my sister whispered to me and said that…

[spoil]Linguini said, ā€œYou son of a…!ā€[/spoil]

I mean, he didn’t say the whole thing, but it’s still funny nonetheless! I must have been laughing for at least fifteen minutes straight after my sister told me that. Now I’ll have to watch the film again just to see if her ears didn’t deceive her… :stuck_out_tongue:

Eheh! That’s too funny… I’m starting to laugh just from thinking about it.

I’m sure he said it - you’d be surprised some of the stuff said in The Incredibles as well.

Brad takes no censorship in writing his scripts. I have a copy of the original screenplay from The Incredibles and it is quite uncensored. In fact, on the cover there is a word bublle coming from Mr. Incredibles’s mouth that says something to the effect of ā€œ#$%^ā€ to note that it is an unedited version. Quite a treat to read.

:open_mouth: I want one of those! lol

(On a COMPLETELY different topic, if I ever meet Brad Bird, the first thing I would ask would be, ā€œWhat’s it like working in the ā€œanimationā€ genre???ā€ And then I would run…If you don’t know what I’m talking about, listen to The Incredibles’ commentary!)

bwahahaha - I’m not sure if I would want to start my relationship with Brad on that foot JF.

Nor would I enjoy spending the next few days in the hospital.

[spoil]ā€œFood is fuel. If you’re picky about what you put in your tank, your engine is gonna die.ā€ ~ Django[/spoil]

Here’s a quote I didn’t like at all. It just sounds dumb to me.

[spoil]ā€œNo brother of mine eats rejectamenta in my town!ā€[/spoil]

Or something like that…

Dash - I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised myself. Truth be told, I’m rather glad that the dude includes such adult humor as that in his films; it adds more ā€œflavorā€ to the production and gives the adults a much-needed chuckle in the end. Heck, it made me snigger so hard that I had to surpress a montage of ā€œexplosiveā€ giggles. (Thanks for the laugh, Mr. Bird!)

Puh-haha! That’s hilarious! I’m gonna do something similar: When I meet him, I’m gonna say, ā€œYes!ā€. I hear that it completely ticks him off, but…I gotta try it. Then again, I might be too chicken and polite to do it. Ah heck… (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

Ha! And I thought I was the only one who took that line of dialogue to be ratherā€¦ā€œinadequateā€. I was thinking, ā€œWhat? ā€œRejectamentaā€? Are you Spanish now, Remy?ā€. Heh. It seemed more like something that Patton Oswalt might say than what Remy would utter. Heh. Weird…

Yeah…I guess it’s just a Parisian Rat thing…

Or a Brad Bird thing. :stuck_out_tongue:  (snigger)

Another one of my Favorites:

[spoil]ā€œI am suddenly a Gusteau and I gotta be a Gusteauā€¦ā€[/spoil]

  • Linguini

aZnCdn - Haha!! I love that line…! The way he says it is hilarious.

Oh man, I just thought of another Linguini line that I only just noticed him say when I saw the film this morning…

[spoil]ā€œAnd he’s gonna order…something…something from our menu. And we’ll have to cook it, unless he orders something coldā€¦ā€ - Linguini [/spoil]

[spoil]ā€œā€¦like a salad.ā€[/spoil] I caught the last part of that on my second viewing, and I was completely cracking up for the remainder of the scene. That’s what’s so great about Pixar, they go that extra mile even with the things in the background that very, very few people are going to actually notice at all.

I love

[spoil]Near the end of Skinner’s rant against Linguini, right before he says, ā€œWhat are you blabbering about?ā€, he says, ā€œā€¦After you sqeeze the fat out of his head!ā€[/spoil]

JesusFreak - Ha! Me too…
