Not really - it happens on occasion - rare but not unheard of
Ha! I loved the whole [spoil]Ratata-pootie[/spoil] thing too, JF! ![]()
Not really one quote, but…
[spoil]the Skinner giving Wine to Linguini in his office was just hilarious!
[/spoil]
Haha – yeah, that was hilarious!
[spoil]“Nope-ity, Nope-ity, nooo…” - Linguini[/spoil]

There are so many, of course, but one whole bit that I loved that nobody’s mentioned yet, and which I really need to get down the exact dialogue for, is [spoil]all the different Gusteau cutouts talking to Remy in their different accents. Especially the Tooth Pickin’ Chicken one who talked like Foghorn Leghorn, CLASSIC![/spoil]
DElf - Oh gosh, that moment was a classic. The whole theater I was in cracked up during that sequence. Heck, I laughed pretty hard myself. Hilarious. ![]()
Okay, this is final for me. My absolute favorite memorable Ratatouille quote [spoil]or monoluge i should say is Ego’s monolouge at the very end of the movie[/spoil]
Best line of dialogue in the whole film:
[spoil]“Change is nature, dad. The part that…we can influence. And it starts…when we decide.” – Remy[/spoil]
Such an influential moment. I loved it, in any case. ![]()
Ah, yes. That has to be the most inspiring line from any Pixar film yet! ![]()
I don’t know. I think that quote would be the be third most inspirational of all. I love this one as my second favorite.
[spoil]“Anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great.”[/spoil]
Well, to all his own! ![]()
The Star Swordsman - Oh yes. Well, that one is wonderful, too! So if that is your second favorite inspirational quote, what’s your first? ![]()
Amen. (snigger) ![]()
While I do love both the Remy and Gusteau lines and find them both inspirational I find the best and most inspirational one to be the whole narration by Ego at the end. I’ve decided that I want to learn that for a monologue.
Dash - I agree. That inspired and lifted my heart to no end… I’m still entranced by it…
My two favorite qoutes; one was by skinner
[spoil]“One cannot get too familiar with vegetables” [/spoil]
I like the context in which it was used. ![]()
and… “You have a rash?” - Colette
Edited. I added spoiler tags to your first quote. – Mitch
Mitch : About my most favorite memorable quote, just read the first post of the fourth page. ![]()
The Star Swordsman - Oh, pff. But of course! Silly me. Sorry, I didn’t see it. ![]()
If I only knew how it went word for word.
Here’s one a just remembered. Quite funny, I think.
[spoil]Ego: “You’re slow for someone in the fast lane.”
Linguini: “Well…you’re thin for someone who likes food.” [/spoil]
JF - I took that as a more serious quote… ![]()
I just thought it was a great comeback for someone who isn’t that good with words. ![]()
