I know what conforming means, but that’s why I was confused by what you said. The way you worded it in your first Grease post sounded like you were saying people only likes this movie because it’s popular and they conform to it, instead of saying it has a Conformist message. Thanks for clearing that up.

I guess that was true, too, in the 80’s. But now, it’s less cool. Except with one of my best friends who carries on about it. 
Have to agree with you on Grease, but me more that its ridiculously sexist. The girl has to fit in her relationship by dressing skanky, taking up a life-threatening habit, and completely abandoning her previous personality. A guy? Joins a sports team and wears the jacket. Which he immediately abandons as soon as he sees his girlfriend. Yeeeahhh…
That’s true as well. Didn’t occur to me, but an excellent point. Yell at me, but I think there is nothing good about the movie save the decent songs someone brought up. Every theme and idea in it is disgusting and personality stifling.
just to be clear, I don’t blow up when someone has something against a movie I like. I’m just stating my beliefs and why I think strongly about a movie. Yes I tend to get passionate about it, but I’m not attacking anyone. I apologize if I did.

Jonah Hex was definitely Overrated…If my brother doesn’t like it, and the trailers made it seem soooo awesome, that’s a good sign it isn’t good and just overhyped for the audience’s pleasure.

Newsies. The movie is supposed to be about STRIKING NEWSBOYS. So why is everyone but Pulitzer and his freaking goons bursting out in song? It makes it harder to identify with them and it makes me root for Pulitzer more.
I actually enjoyed Johnah Hex. It was overrated and overhyped, probably because of Megan Fox.
I might see it, but only because I like comic movies. I don’t hate Megan Fox. Everyone seems to, but I don’t care one way or another.
I like comic movies too. i guess people were just underwhelmed by the movie. I think Megan Fox isn’t the best actress in the world, but I think she’s really hot.

What if The Last Airbender was over rated. 
I HATED it…and not just because I haven’t watched the series, it’s because I know a bad movie when I see one.
Good thing it got 2010 Worst Picture.
I didn’t watch The Last Airbender, but I DID see the series finale. To me, it was fine stopping there.
