Movies - both new and old

I don’t think it’s been localized yet, but companies are considering picking it up (last time I checked, anyway).

Ah. Well, I’ll check Amazon. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sleepless in Seattle : A- All I can say for this is I liked it, and it has Tom Hanks.

Just saw The Chain Gang, a football movie about a team brought together in prison. I thought it was a very powerful film.

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut: This movie is hilarious! It has a great score, and I like nearly all the songs. I give it an A. I watched the credits to this movie today for the first time. Both George Clooney and Dave Foley are in this movie, I never noticed that!

I just saw Iron Man, and it’s awesomeness. I love that movie.

I’m a huge fan of South Park, so after reading your gush, EJE, I think I might have to earmark this one.

I saw Dog Day Afternoon. This movie blew me away! Al Pacino was amazing!

Cyrus - It was a good movie. I was surprised to see Jonah Hill play a serious role, and play it well, IMO.

Sweet, I’m glad there’s another fan here!

Forrest Gump: Yes, I finally saw Forrest Gump, and after all my friends arguing, yelling, and even swearing at me for not seeing it, it might be my favorite movie. It’s been two days, I immediately watched it again, but I still don’t know if I’m willing to give up my current number one: WALL-E, let alone my other top films. It will probably settle down after a while, but for now it gets an A+ from me.

The Silence of the Lambs: Holy Christ! It got better! 8D This is one of the rare films I enjoyed more on a second viewing. A+

Chuckles: Forrest is one of my favorite movies of all time! <3

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time: B - Not great, but I liked it. I didn’t like Tamina, though. As usual. 8D I have one thing to say in this movie’s defense. Why does everyone complain that the actors were all white? People in Iran (or Persia in the past) are Caucasian. Did they need to have British accents? No. Could they have had darker skin? Obviously. Persia is in Southwest Asia, so they did need more tan. However, I just thought I’d say that since everyone complains that they’re white. I liked the more traditional moral of this movie (Yes! Thank God, no mind-blowing crap that makes me mad. More, please, Disney!). So, I liked it, and I’m not sorry.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps: A - I liked this movie a lot. Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf were terrific, and I liked the basic idea. I would have more of an opinion had I seen the original Wall Street. I broke my own sequel rule! Argh!

I really want to see Rango.

Same here, I am going to try to see it this weekend.

I’m going to try to see it this weekend, too.

Guys, guess what? I’ll be reviewing Inception on this board tomorrow! My mom finally rented it. :sunglasses: I’m so excited!

Lucky! I still need to see it. Can’t wait for your review!

I can’t remember whether or not my parents bought that one, but I might get to see it fairly soon, too. Curious to see your thoughts on it.

The Emperor’s New Groove: This is a film that knows it’s a cartoon. I love it’s style, story, and characters. I give it an A.

Cat’s Don’t Dance: This film is good due to Randy Newman’s soundtrack, the 30s Hollywood setting, and the animation. I’m not a fan of the story or jokes. I give it a B-.

Best in Show: This film is hilarious! The whole cast is dysfunctional, save the dogs. Hilarity all around. I give it an A.

I really want to see The King’s Speech.

You should, it’s amazing!

You’re in for one heck a film. Unfortunately, I hate to inform you that the Mariachi elf owls will give away the ending within the first few minutes of the film.

Interesting, my mum was suggesting to my dad to go see it just a few minutes ago. I’m curious to see it, too, because of its accolades and also because I love the idea of an individual triumphing over adversity with his inner courage and the help of his friends.
