Yeah, it’s a good De Palma film, but not my favorite of him, nor of Pacino.
Welcome to Mooseport: This was an interesting movie, and someof the parts of it were unexpected. But for a movie with Ray Romano, I expected it to be more funny.
Yeah, I need to see some of De Palma’s other films like The Untouchables and Carlito’s Way.
I love The Untouchables.
Carlito’s Way is basically Scarface all over again, but with a gentler main character and no rise to power. I think I like it about the same.
The Untouchables is fantastic!
I wasn’t impressed with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, but that’s okay, because I didn’t expect to be.
I really loved Tombstone and Red Dragon. I really enjoyed Highlander, but obviously it isn’t “good”.
Highlander, the 80’s action movie? I’ve always been curious about that.
I refuse to watch the Transformers movies for some reason… ![]()
Yes, the 80’s movie. And I love the first Transformers. But I assume the 3rd is as bad as the 2nd.
I’m not really that interested in seeing Dark of the Moon. Besides, I’m not that big for Michael Bay.
I also think Bay is untalented. I didn’t like any of his Transformers films, even if the first is a little better.
I’m not at all interested on watching the third, but someone will bring it this week and I’ll see it.
I just really like the first one. I wouldn’t say it’s good. He’s a terrible director.
Yeah, he is. I always hate how his movies always have explosions in them. It seems like they always overdo them.
Yes. I’m so tired of the explosions. ![]()
Yeah, it’s like spamming laugh tracks on a sitcom.
Ooh, I hate the sounds.
Exactly. Especially when they do it every stinkin’ second at something that isn’t funny.
Yes.
And the “Aw” sound, and the clapping. ![]()
Yep. I just wish they didn’t have to spam it constantly though.
I wish they didn’t do it at all.
True. I usually just try to ignore it if I hear it on a show nowadays.
I try, but I usually break down and turn off the TV.
