I like the sound of that ![]()
Anyway, I saw The Lion King in 3D today. The 3D was really good. Kudos to the people who converted it to 3D.

I saw The Lion King 3D twice in theatres.
I watched Lilo & Stitch today. It was pretty good.
I’d go into more detail, but I’m tired. ![]()
I really like that movie, but I haven’t seen it for a long time. I also enjoyed the TV show.
I haven’t watched Lilo and Stich in quite some time either. In my opinion, I think that and The Emperor’s New Groove were the only two good films from Disney after the Renaissance and when Eisner was still at Disney.
Yay! Now I want to rewatch that movie. So it was your first time seeing it?
eje- Yes, it was. I was familiar with the characters, though, since I had seen the series when I was younger.
Wasn’t there also a Lilo and Stitch 2? If there was, I haven’t seen that one at all.
I believe there was a sequel at one point. I think it was a direct-to called Sitch Has A Glitch or something.
I saw The Patriot last night. Relatively depressing, but very well staged and the acting is great. The pacing worked just fine for it as well. I’d give it an A-.
I saw The Patriot as well in my History class a few weeks ago. Great film but it was a litte too violent for me. Acting was great and it had a good storyline. A-
^ I really like The Patriot. I think it’s the only good Roland Emmerich film.
The great score by John Williams also helps, of course.
Yeah, I basically agree, although it wasn’t too awful for an R movie. I just had to look away for a couple bits, especially during that axe massacre scene, lol.
Exactly. If I remember correctly, there was a scene where a guy got his head blown off by a cannon ball. Don’t remember exactly though.
Yeah, that happened, although it went by really fast and looked kind of unrealistic.
It probably would’ve grossed me out if my dad weren’t behind me making bad death puns: “HEADS UP!” ![]()
Yeah, I wasn’t too grossed out by it since I knew it was fake.
The Ides of March: 3 stars. It was a good movie. Not great but good. But great acting by Ryan Gosling, George Clooney, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, and Paul Giamatti. Great directing by Clooney (its the fourth film he directed). Just brings nothing new that we don’t already know about politics. But a good thriller.
Dinner for Schmucks: Hilarious. Hilarious. Hilarious. A bit creepy at some parts, but hilarious! Just the cast was amazing. Steve Carell, Jermaine Clement, and Zach Galifinakis. Need I say more? I was also happy that Jeff Dunham and Kristen Schaal.
The movie had great humor, a great storyline, and great characters. What more could you want?
I agree. Dinner For Schmucks was a great film. Jay Roach really knows how to make some comedic movies.
I managed to catch Scarface with Al Pacino on ITV recently. Loved it. Really entertained me with it’s soundtrack, violent nature and intense scenes, just the way I like it frankly. Loved the end scene where Tony decides he’s not going down without a fight and massacres a bunch of assassins in a drug-fuelled rage. Genius.
What about anyone else, ever seen it?
