Movies - both new and old

Me too!!! I’m buying it the first day it’s out. I’m thinking about seeing it one more time, but I only have enough money for one movie until I get paid next Thursday, and I want to see Contagion. At least can relive the movie through the soundtrack anytime I want to.

I have yet to see Drive (not released in my country, obviously :imp: ), but I hear very glowing reviews, and that it has Bullit inspirations.

I’m normally not too crazy about films taking place mainly on a car, but if it has a good script, I’ll cherish it.

Scooby Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed: First off, I was a big fan of the TV series growing up. Anyway, I thought that this film was horrible. The only voice actor who I liked out of the entire film was the guy who played Shaggy. I thought that his performance was spot-on with the fictional character. The thing I really nitpicked on here was that there were too many villians. Personally, I would of made it like the first film where they solve some big mystery and fight off a bad guy. The villians kind of sucked for the most part. I mean, the only one that I thought was tough was the 10,000 volt ghost. When I first saw this film in the cinema, I thought that he was was definitly a beast. The jokes I thought for the most part were really corny like in the first film. To me, it kind of felt like a fan film more then anything. D+

Haven’t seen any movies recently. I have a whole list of films I want to see soon…

• Born to Boogie
• Tommy
• Let It Be
• Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence
• Oliver and Company
• The Song Remains the Same
• Mary & Max
• Back to the Future Part III
• Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii
• Mr. Holland’s Opus
• Terminator

Mr. Hollund’s Opus and Oliver and Company are great!! I can’t vouch for the others. I haven’t heard of many of them! 8D

Has anyone else seen the movie Zookeeper? I don’t think it’s in the theaters anymore, and I’m not sure when it’s coming out on video. I thought it was hilarious!

I haven’t seen it yet but I herd it got bad reviews.

I’m not a fan of Kevin James. i heard the movie was barely enjoyable, but more stupid.

I’m not that big for Kevin James but he’s an alright actor.

I don’t like him either, but I enjoy a couple of his impersonations.

I saw Contagion today and I wish I could get my money back. I was so bored after the first 30 minutes. I couldn’t put my finger on why unitl I decided to type this post. The movie didn’t make me feel like I had to wash my hands more than I already do, if you know what I mean. I wonder what would Danny Boyle have done with this movie if he directed it.

Video? Video?! VIDEO?!

BTW October 11th is when it comes out on DVD AND BLU-RAY NOT ‘VIDEO’

There’s nothing wrong with calling it video.

Yeah, it’s pratically the same thing.

Amy and Ballboi are right. They’re still home video, and can be called like that.

I would advice you to make more polite responses when talking to other members, annarborjack. Specially after a couple of posts you made yesterday.

Sorry, I was in a bad mood when I wrote that, I can be very mean and nasty when I’m in a bad mood.

Ok, just try not to.

Yesterday you made a couple of posts that are considered spam, so the moderators are already looking out for this kind of thing.

This is simply a warning, as there was some concern on the matter.

Just thought I’d post to tell everyone to go see 50/50. It’s a terrific film.

Since I saw the trailer I thought it would be a quality film. I’ll watch it, no doubt.

I heard that it was a good movie too tribefan!

And annarborjack, I understand you were in a bad mood, but you still have to control what you say, what you post. We’re been giving you warnings now, but next time, action will be taken. You’re a Pixar Planet veteran now. Please try and be more mature.

Thanks, happy posting.
