Movies - both new and old

I agree, it’s shallow and ignorant, and totally ridiculous, but I don’t thin’k it’s unbelievable. I’ve seen people like that.

In fact, I think those terrible people like Mavis, and others types with a superiority complex are that way because they’re much encouraged by their dumb-struck followers. It happens a lot with tyrants, too.

Maybe that’s what Sandra’s character was meant to express.

And by the say, she wasn’t exactly like that in the Diablo Cody script, but it was apparently Jason Reitman who worked with the character in that direction.

That’s interesting to know. I haven’t read any of Cody’s scripts but of the two movies I’ve seen written by her, I enjoy her writing.

Clearly the other film of her you’ve seen is Juno and not Jennifer’s Body 8D

Yes, I figured that would be obvious.

Has anyone ever seen Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure? It’s about these two teen’s who need to pass a history project so this guy gives them a time mahine and they get famous people like Beethoven, Billy the Kid, Napoleon and of course Lincoln. I didn’t see the whole movie, but from what I saw, it was good. It had funny part’s that made me laugh and it kept me watching. I recorded it to watch the rest of the movie. I didn’t see the begining.

Midnight In Paris: I really enjoyed it. The 20’s scenes were my favorite, really great. The film had a subject that interests me and Paris looked wonderful through the whole film.

^I really want to see that!

I definitely recommend it^^. I thought it was quite enjoyable.

I watched Midnight In Paris last night and I really enjoyed it. I would rate it 9/10

I loved the film and all its references to artist of the époque.

I watched one of my favorite movies last night, Goodfellas. Scorcese <3

I watched You Don’t Know Jack last night.

I’m off to see The Hunger Games this Thursday night… super-excited!

Aw God, I love Goodfellas!! I like it as much as The Godfather(yes, I’m evil).

Why evil? I think both films are equally good, simply in different aspects.

Oh, okay. Good. It’s just that the Godfather is a masterpiece and has the highest IMDB rating(tied with Shawshank redemption) whereas I simply really enjoy Goodfellas.

No, both are masterpieces.

The problem is that unbearable need of people to label something as the “best ever”, when there’s no way to actually determine it.

I think a more approximate truth would be to say that both of those films are among the best ever. Which one of them is better? Hard to say.

I understand. That makes sense.

I have never watched The Godfather. I don’t know if it will interest me. I think it’s that movie where thet guy says “The day of my daughter’s wedding.” I may be wrong.

Even if it was a fact that TG is better than GF (which there’s no way of prooving, since it’s opinion based), there’s nothing wrong with liking GF the best! No matter what IMDB says.
