About to watch The Skin I Live In. I’m also going to try to finish The Shop on Main Street tonight or sometime soon. Also, Lovefilm. Geez, when’s the last time I watched an American movie? ![]()
Titanic 3D I always get caught up in this movie when I see it. Rose and Jack’s relationship always stays with me for hours after I see it and I love the score. The 3D added nothing to the movie but it didn’t matter. It was great to see this movie again on the big screen.
Closely Watched Trains
Skin I Live In was a good film but not enough to crack my top ten for 2011.
Puss In Boots: I enjoyed it, there were some fun scenes, I enjoyed the action bits and some of the jokes were funny. I thought it was an interesting take on the fairytale.
Or in the title of the fairytale, since it didn’t keep any other element ![]()
Cabin in the Woods I had a good time watching this movie. I’ve seen a lot of horror movies over the years so it was fun to see this movie kind of poke fun at them in a subtle way. I just didn’t like how the trailer gave away a major part of the movie. But then as the movie heads towards the end, you see that there’s more to the story. Something that’s very original for a horror movie. At least it was original to me. I’ve never seen anything like it in a movie like this. I enjoyed the characters except one. It wasn’t about his acting. The problem was that it seemed like he was in it as a set up for something later but it never paid off.
Well, that’s what I meant.
My mom bought Bedknobs and Broomsticks at a yard sale today, so this evening I’ll probably watch it.
^I’ve always wanted to see that!
Actually, there are lots of Disney movies I’ve been meaning to see. ![]()
This weekend I’ve seen Carnage, Cinderella, and Shop on Main Street. Wondering if I should watch anything else since I have no more work to do…
I remember that we had that movie when I was younger.

I saw Mirror, Mirror last night. I liked it! It was funny, had great costumes, and a score by Alan Menken. There were a few things that didn’t make sense, but overall it was a fun movie.
Like I said, Mirror Mirror just looks like a silly spoof of Snow White.
I had no idea Alan Menken did the score! Is the movie a musical? In any case, that entices me to see it even more.
Isn’t that what it’s suppose to be?
I barely saw anything of it so I have no idea.
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol: I really enjoyed it. I think the action scenes were done great, as were the dialogue scenes. It had an interesting story. So, I think Brad Bird did a really god job with it.
No, it wasn’t a musical. There weren’t any songs.
I watched The Green Lantern today and it was silly and over the top.
Yes, it was disappointment, specially because I’ve seen good efforts from Campbell (Casino Royale in particular), and the film didn’t even look like it was directed by him.
I’m going to watch Casablanca with my dad tonight. ![]()
