I was just forced to sit through Donnie Darko by my sister. Not too bad of a movie, but my back was aching and I was becoming restless.
I’m still watching the Tinkerbell movie.

I just came back from the movies. I saw Madagascar 2. I really enjoyed it. If you want a full review, check out the “Madagascar 2” topic located in the “Other Animation” section of the forum.
I recently saw Journey to the Center of the Earth. It was cool and exciting, and they followed some parts of the novel even though it’s supposed to be a different story with different characters just in the same situation.
I saw “Role Models” last night and it was one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen! I dont know if you’ll all be able to see it because its rated “R”, but if you do, you wont regret it!
A trailer of “Role Models” popped up on my TV, and it looked hilarious. However, I couldn’t see it because it’s rated “R”. Why is it rated “R” anyway?
FONY - Well, now you’re not alone. I just watched the entire “Tinkerbell” movie on YouTube today, as well. It was actually rather cute, and not half bad for a Disney film! Nevertheless, I wouldn’t pay $20.00 for the DVD.

Mitch: I finally finished it. It’s all right, but I’d only pay for it just to get the Disney Movie Rewards.
Oh, c’mon, the cynical, how bad could it be? Even if it has elements which seems… rather silly and, ‘childish,’ if you will, do remember that the heart of a child is an innocent one, and such films which we, the more, mature audience, found to be embarrassing if we were ever caught watching them, are also of innocent origins which, this chaotic world seems better off with it.
Of course, if it’s the amount of ‘pink’ (fairies, ponies, etc.) that sent that eerie chill down your spine as you watched it… well, that I’m better in relating.
It’s not that it’s bad - the cutesy parts made me blush and make me feel embarrassed for watching it.
I dunno - if the features are nice, I may buy it … after all, I get them for 10 bucks a piece.
I do like, however, that they have characters of them at the parks - sure it’s all about marketing, but it’s cute and they’re marketing right because if I were several years younger I’d go for it. I just love faeries!
And, I dunno … it probably was rather pink. If it was, I didn’t notice.
Out of curiosity, I just had to type in Tinkerbell Movie into Youtube, and after about two minutes of watching it, it all became too much and I switched it off.
same, 'specially after 2001 and 2010!
FONY - Oh, yeah! I forgot about the Disney Movie Rewards. I’ll just add more points to my collection once I get the WALL-E DVD.
lizardgirl - Ha! That’s funny. Welcome to the world of Disney these days.

mitch: yes, very.
I saw Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (full thoughts in the Mad 2 section) and I also saw Slumdog Millionaire. Slumdog will probably go for Best Picture, it is that good.
Please tell me I’m not the only teenager here totally screaming my head off for Twilight. >.>
You’re not. But I haven’t actually read it. I’m just excited becuase the hottest actress in hollywood is in it! Kristen Stewart!!!
I just watched My Dog Skip. I teared up. Stupid movie.
FONY - Puh-ha! Dude, that movie is so bad, I swear. I saw it when I was a kid and I just… didn’t get it.
Has anyone seen Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World? Now that’s an epic film. Anyone who’s anyone simply must give it a chance…
– Mitch
Mitch: It wasn’t that bad - I’m just angry at it because it almost made me cry.
FONY - Oh, pfff. Silly me. You said “teared” up. Somehow I read that wrong.
