Ant Bully was a little disturbing to me.

If that’s the case, you really should rectify that
fact. It doesn’t matter to me if it doesn’t end up as a top favorite of yours . . . but it is without a doubt
a great movie!!

I totally agree with the way you assessed it. I love how Pixar has a way of making small worlds seem as huge as our own… so huge that they have politics and social hierarchies, etc. A Bugs Life embodies that. If you will.
I’m new here but was one of the big raging fans of ABL back in the day, was on all the rpg sites and everything and I’ve written several fan-fics. Years later ABL is still my favorite of the Pixar films, but then I freely admit that if a film is about bugs it’s got my attention. I even have an Ant Bully fansite, I’m pretty sure I’m the only one.
