If I got The Hub, I would probably record this show and watch at least one episode. Just to see what all the hubbub is about.

To be honest I had no cluse My little Pony ever had a tv series.
I did reaserch and there were a few tv speicals the first one starred Sandy Duncan. There was a movie that starred Danny Devito and only named $5 million in the u.s.
There was a tv series that apprently was very popular. And another one as well.
Now there is this. It sounds like they tried to be like the Care Bears.
Oh lame! That’s too bad.
I finished the series about a month ago, and although the season finale was somewhat anticlimatic, it was a good run. I’m already looking forward to the second season, even though Lauren Faust won’t be on board. I’m sure the new successors will handle it nicely. 
For some strange reason, a few of the ponies’ upset expressions look hilarious, like Twilight’s guilty expression at 13:05 and Fluttershy’s tears welling-up at 18:05 in ‘Bird in the Hoof’, or Twilight’s terrified look at 16:34 in ‘Boast Busters’. And of course, ‘emo’ Pinkie Pie for the third act of ‘Party of One’. 
I should get ahold of the entire series, they’re a practical goldmine for funny avatars and sigs!
My favourite episode is a toss between ‘Griffon the Brush-Off’ and ‘Dragonshy’, although Over a Barrel deserves praise for touching on a contentious topic and being a great Western tribute/homage. My least has to be ‘A Dog and Pony Show’, because it was somewhat disturbing to see Rarity being abducted to be a slave and the villains are just plain weird-looking and unconvincing baddies.
But yes, it’s a truly refreshing show. As I mentioned before, not a single fistfight or mock-gun battle scene in sight (but this is. after all, primarily targeted to young girls). Inspiring and life-affirming messages without the angst or ‘realism’ that pervades movies and contemporary shows nowadays (not that I have anything wrong with that, but like I said, MLP is refreshing). It really is reminiscent of good ol’-fashioned adventure shows from the 80s and 90s.
And the characters are just adorable. None of that try-hard-coolness or teen-speak-lingo, their dialogue and actions are timeless and universal to identify with. No American elementary or high-school setting (Ponyville reminds me more of university campus life). And monsters, magic, and mystery galore!
I’ve been raving about this show to my friends for the last few months and most of them think I’m crazy, but once or twice, I encountered a fellow brony and know I’m not alone. This has to be one of the best TV shows in a long time, and I’m probably the last guy you’d catch dead watching this.
I’m very disappointed with Lauren’s leaving, but I will still watch.
Virginia: Right…I hope the quality of the show does’nt drop because of her leaving…
It took me a few eps to really start loving it. It’s one of those shows that you either fully enjoy or is just not your bale of hay.

Er… I actually bought a MLP for the first time in five years. Her name is Lily Blossom and I mostly chose her because I like her colours… heh!
It’s actually pretty exciting to watch a new show on Youtube. First for me was the Animals of Farthing Wood, second was some Japanese dog anime and third was Donkey Kong Country. Of all things, I enjoyed Donkey Kong Country most for obvious reasons, but MLP? Just plain awesome.

I just found a stack of pony papercraft! These will adorn my desk until Hasbro releases some show-accurate ponies.

I bought a Twilight Sparkle figurine yesterday. I regret nothing, she’s adorable.
Quite a shame her head’s a little bit different colour from her body though…
No, wait, they’re in there! Madame Lafleur and Sir Lint-a-lot are between Rarity and Cheerilee, and Rocky and Mr. Turnip are between Pinkie Pie and Mayor Mare.
There are a couple of fan characters that they missed, Caramel’s nowhere to be seen, neither is Raindrops or poor little Dinky Hooves.

Awesome! How you gonna do it, though? Are you gonna be like pantomime horses or humanised versions?
Personally in terms of merchandise, I’d really love it if they released plush toys rather than figurines- you know toys to hug. If they wanted the more little girl quotient they could even make felt clothes to attach on to them- like their Gala outfits perhaps. And extra things to buy to attach to them like that, you know if they want to bleed the parents dry. 
I’d get them all, though personally I’d want both Twilight and Fluttershy first.
