Pictures!
Intresting behind the scenes find. But are they going to get rid of the electric
eels?
BTW, This would be perfect in the New
Nemo Ride At Living Seas is Open thread.
Since the Submarine Ride is a far
more significant attraction than living seas, I [respectfully] disagree. The submarine ride, opened in 1959 by
Walt, has been rotting for years, and was almost entirely filled in with cement (as is what happened with this
ride at Disneyworld!). It’s probably the single most anticipated refurbished attraction at the parks EVER.
That is one, cool lookin’ ride, despite the cement.
Personally, I hope they keep the electric eels.
Hmm, it does look very interesting! I can’t wait to see
it when it’s finished.
I would also like to comment about those pics. I must say, I have never seen
pics of the ride before. At least the behind the scenes part. of course, all of the ride was completely filled up
with water. Great find.
Has anyone seen the
Concept Artwork of this upcoming ride?
The visual can give a big hint on how the
ride is going pan out as far as seeing it from the eye.
How cool! I would love to see what that’s all about! A Nemo Submarine ride. There’s something that could
have gone in Disney World where 20000 Leagues Under the Sea used to be (which was a submarine ride as well)
The Subs
are now in previews and videos are up. Looks like a much more better version of the Epcot ride.

Nighttime
video, but it will do until the ride officially opens next week.
I am going to HAVE to check that ride out!!!
I am going to Disneyland this saturday. Hoefully, i get to check this ride out I am
too excited.
The Star Swordsman - Hey – maybe I’ll see you there, dude!
Ah, okay. I won’t be hard to miss
then.
sigh It looks so cool! I wish WDW had done that with
their old 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride (which freaked me out when I was little. I always thought, what if
this sub sinks falls to the bottom like that other one down there or gets crushed by this giant octopus? Even
though I knew in my head that the octopus wasnt real and that the sub was on a track and couldnt move) Instead I
think they filled it in…
TSS, if you can get on the ride, do it early in the day. Considering the Subs are a
slowloader and that the lines will definitely get WAY long, I’d probably put going to the Subs as first thing
over any of the mountains.
Official opening is the 11th, I’m hoping there are previews actually going
beforehand so you’ll get on.
TSS & Mitch- i am VERY
jealous of both of you… take a ride for me!
justfoundnemo - Sure
thing! Even better: I’ll get pictures…
Oh I won’t. Although I will feel wierd. I am going to wear TI
stuff on a Neo Ride. Doesn’t anyone find it kinda strange?
The Star Swordsman - On
the contrary, it makes perfect sense. Wearing an “Incredibles” shirt shows your support for Pixar and,
in turn, Finding Nemo, if you think about it.
I think Mitch is
right. A TI shirt shows your love of Animation, if not Pixar.
