I have this thought that UP could be the name of a character in the film.

For some reason, I’m thinking that it’s about space.
Spaceships maybe ?
I think UP could be about a bird who doesn’t know how to
fly, but dreams to fly.
Then they would be doing two movies that have space scences, in a row. I don’t know
if I quite can see that yet.
I like your idea TSS – sounds like Pixar. But
it could be anything, like a airplane who doesn’t know how to fly, a bird like you said, or helicopters. 
Now that would be interesting. They did a
short film about birds already (For the Birds) , so this could be an expanded
version of that idea.
I would think they would take a break from machines. THey
already did Cars and WALE is going to be a Robot.
Yeah it’s movie about us here on the forum. = P
The Incredibles does sound like a
super-hero movie, and Finding Nemo does sound like someone is trying to finding something (Nemo), but it’s
easier to put the pieces together after the fact.
I’m not so keen on the idea of two space themes in a
row (even though I like space), but yeah, maybe it is about birds or an airplane - I don’t think anyone’s ever
done a CGI movie about the sky, before.
On that note, I want Pixar to create a rainbow in one of their
movies, because rainbows are so beautiful. =)

My mom wishes that
Pixar will create a film about WWII airplanes, or something of the sort. Although it
may sound a little dramatic, I’m sure that they could weld a fantastic premise/story around that concept. Maybe
this “Up” project is it?
Didn’t they already do a fluing war animated movie? I
think it was about pigeons.
Disney did a film called
Valiant, which dealt with the subject of pigeons who carried messages from one base
to another during the war. However, that premise is a little different than what my mom is referring to…

Wait a minute. If I
remember correctly, Wikipedia put up a film called Birds of a Feather at Pixar’s
page. But it was probably someone just screwing with us.
Maybe it’s just because [i]Surf’s
Up[/i] is out, but doesn’t “Up” sound like some sort of surfing lango? Maybe it’s a
surfing movie.
Somehow I doubt that,
