New Year Eve Par-tay!

So would do you guys do on New Year’s eve?

We have

a huge par-tay with loud music! sometimes we fire fireworks, and invite everyone we know!

Some people just

watch fireworks, or watch tv, (yawn :l) :unamused: Boring… No offence on the people that like doing that

he-he

For a few years, I would spend the night at a

friend’s house, but this year, I’m going to a New Year’s party with the college group at my church. It’s

“dress to impress” with the best music of the last 30 years as the soundtrack and the new year’s

countdown in HD. It sounds like it’ll be a lot of fun, especially if a lot of my friends show up.

I always

spend New Year’s Eve with the family and then leave after midnight and toasting to party with friends. That’s

pretty much been the tradition. I might stay in and call it a night early this year though since I’ve been

feeling less than well, so I just might turn into one of those “boring” individuals that stay in and

watch t.v. on New Year’s Eve, like CarFreak mentioned. :stuck_out_tongue: I’m not feeling all too fabulous at the current

moment, actually, and I really don’t want to make it worse.

I’ve never missed a Dick Clark New Year’s Times Square ball drop. No matter what we do the

rest of the night (I’ve done almost everything from watch movies to partying with friends to driving go-carts),

we always tune in to ABC to watch the ball drop. For me, it’s just not New Year’s without it.

Well, let me think. I am not sure

about a party, because on some years, we have small parties, and others, we have huge parties. But two thing is

always constant. Drinks! (coca-cola, apple cider, and coke-float) and games.

I’ve been having movie

marathons for the past number of years. Although I do stop to watch Dick Clark & the ball drop

I don’t know who else has heard, but I’ve been informed that Rascal Flatts is going to be on Rockin’ New

Year’s Eve. I don’t know what the chances of “Life Is A Highway” being played are, but either way

it’s still pretty darn cool, I think.

As for my “party,” I’m just going to watch that with my

family, and then stay up 'til two and celebrate again via IM with a friend who lives in New Mexico.

For once, I don’t have to work

on a holiday!

I’m heading over to my uncle’s house tonight. We’ll play video games and watch the

ball drop. Nothing extravagant, but it’ll be good to be around other family.

Have a Happy New Year

everybody!

~~=oP

I am so excited that it

is only hours away! Have a happy new year everyone!

PixarVixen - Heheh – congratulations! For once,

you don’t have to work! Be proud.

Well, here is my schedule. I do the same thing every

year…

1. Get up
2. Bang the alarm clock for

waking me up too early
3. Go into the kitchen and stock all of the

dishes
4. Make some hot chocolate and grab a couple of

donuts
5. Turn on the tv at precisely 6:00-7:00 AM and wait for/watch the

show

This is the only time of the year when I eat donuts, so I will be especially happy at midnight

tonight. :stuck_out_tongue:

Happy New Year, everyone!!

Happy new year

everyone

We’re in 2007 here in France, and it’s 6:30 am. Maybe I should go to bed now…

wow, just had two glasses of cider

already.

Happy New Year Everyone! =]

Im one of the last people to have the New Year since im in

california. I just watched the ball drop on tv. Fireworks are illegal in San Diego by the way because of high

risk of wildfires. There are still fireworks but only by authorized people.

Heimlich - Yeah, the same went for me. I watched a recorded show of the ball

dropping down in New York City, and it was fantastic. I was the only one awake enough to watch the countdown last

night… :stuck_out_tongue:

Our neighbors set off some fireworks of their own the night before. I wouldn’t be surprised

if the racket woke up the whole city. (snigger)

I got to watch it live ! Thank

gooseness i’m on the east coast .

gottalovepixar - Lucky you.

Too bad you don’t live in New York – then I might have seen you on tv.

I’m close . About 4 hours away from the state . But you wouldn’t know who’s me

anyway . Unless i had a giant sign that said " Hi Pixar Planet buddies it’s me gottalovepixar ! " .

lol

Haha – yeah, you should have done that. Maybe next year… :stuck_out_tongue:

MAybe when i get my driver’s license , which will be by the time i’m in college if i get into that boarding

school i want to go to .

Ok back on topic : anybody get some really dizzy people at their house or

wherever they were partying , if you know what i mean ?

i had some people , one of them was thinking

about shouting "whoohoo ! " out of their car window when their wife drove home . it was pretty funny .

I did see the ball drop on TV. But I am sure it is not the same as watching it for real.
