Night at the Museum

This film rocked my socks off!!

I went just to see

Steve Coogan. Steve’s performance was excellent, and I’m a longtime fan of Robin Williams and he was awesome

too. I highly reccommend it for the kids at heart and fiction fans.

I won’t say anything to spoil, but

it was really worth seeing and the graphics were very believable and the storyline was cool and … it’s all

good, just see it!

And, um, if you have anything bad to say about it, keep it to yourself because to be

quite frank, I do not want to hear it.

Oh man

– I want to see this film so bad! As a matter of fact, I’m going to scrounge for some money this week so that I

can go see the thing this Saturday, if possible. I heard it was good, and it looks hilarious, so I’m all for it!

Plus, museums are scary at night, and I love to be scared, so that’s a bonus. (snigger)

I also

want to go because Owen Wilson is in it – now that I know who Lightning McQueen is, I’m more keen to seeing

films with the guy in it.

Mitch : Don’t forget Robin

Williams ! Even though he hasn’t been in any pixar films , he still rocks .

And if you want to

see more films with Wilson , don’t see You Me and Dupree , that movie wasn’t very good .

Oh, I want to see that movie. It looks so funny.

gottalovepixar - Oh yes,

Robin Williams is awesome, as well. I look forward to seeing him it it.

And nope – I don’t plan on

seeing You, Me, and Dupree, as I also heard that it was bad. Heheh. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not sure whether I want to see it

or not…Sorry, FONY, but I believe that when sharing opinions about things such as films, every opinion should

be heard, even ones that disagree with your own, and I believe that although the cast seemed to be quite good,

the story dragged a little and they could have done more with the idea. Not a bad film, just not a great

film.

Not to get

off-topic, but I agree with everything you said there, lizardgirl. Everyone is

entitled to his/her own views and opinions, and he/she should be given a chance to express them.

I agree too, but as long as it

isn’t negative, then I believe it should be allowed.

I know people have different opinions but when it comes to this board, people are

straight forward ‘I hate it!’ with no explanation. I agree they could’ve done more, but it’s been a while

since I’ve seen a fantasy film that appealed to me, and it reminded me of the old sorts of movies I watched as a

kid. I’m not thoroughly obsessed as of yet, but I will be once it’s out on DVD, and … I hope this isn’t

getting off topic, but I’ve grown to hate … another film with all of my soul, and people are really crazy in

love with it, and I don’t go sharing my negative opinion.

So sorry if I’d like to see more positive

comments than negative around here. A lot of people take the things they like to heart. Including me.

Ever

hear of the saying ‘If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it at all?’ =P

Yeah, I want to see this too.

Owen Wilson is a cutie .

Other then the museum coming alive, what is it about in terms of storyline

?

As long as it

isn’t overtly negative (i.e., incessant newbie-style flaming), it should be

allowed, IMO. I just don’t see why anyone should refrain himself/herself from expressing an opinion, be it

positive or negative, as long they have reasons to back it up.

I’m actually the kind of person who likes

to hear mixed reviews about a film, and that is precisely what has been keeping me from going to watch Night at

the Museum. Ben Stiller is teh r0x for me, but the movie trailers didn’t seem too promising for me (particularly

when that fossil T-Rex started acting like a playful dog).

FONY- True, but that saying is really quite incorrect. If people didn’t express

their opinions, even negative ones, then society just wouldn’t work. I know how you feel- every time someone

says something bad about something I love, (a good example of which is Randall, as a lot of people do ‘flame’

him without giving any plausible reasons) but I accept that not everyone will see my view and I move on. My best

friends hate him, and there’s nothing I can do about it, but that’s their opinion, at the end of the day.

Going back to the film, as I said, it isn’t a bad film, it’s just not a groundbreaking film, though the

idea is very original.

I reaaaaaaally want to see this movie! The trailer bought me as soon as I saw Owen Wilson as a cowboy… how can

you NOT resist Owen Wilson as a cowboy?! giggles

Night at the Museum was the best movie I have seen all year accept Cars.

Well, I am

a guy, so I don’t think he’s cute. But I loved him as a cowboy in Shanghi Noon & Knights. And I loved him

as a car as well.

Well, I just saw it

yesterday, and I have to say that it was pretty funny. Unfortunately, it didn’t appeal to me as much as I would

have liked it to; although, I shall still give it a C+ for effort. :stuck_out_tongue:

They sure did get all the big names

to star in it though, didn’t they? Badda-bing:

- Robin Williams

 • Dick Van Dyke

Ben Stiller

 • Mickey Rooney
 • Owen Wilson

Gee whiz – who else could they have

gotten? Although, I have to admit that Owen Wilson was pretty funny.

Third time i have ever seen Mr. Wilson in a cowboy out fit. it really suits him

well.

The Star Swordsman - I know

– he is absolutely great as a cowboy. The accent and everything suits him perfectly.

Ben Stiller looks very hilarious as

well.

Steve’s and Owen’s characters were hilarious together -

Octavius and Jedidiah. The scenes with the two were my faves, especially when [spoil] they drove

around in the remote control truck.[/spoil]
