This was an enjoyable movie - and VERY
funny.
Stiller, Wilson and Williams all had great performances.
I just say two
things:
Monkey
Huns

Groaning - (snigger) Dexter drove me nuts. I loved it
when…
[spoil]…Stiller and Dexter started slapping each
other.[/spoil]
![]()
Mitch - Yeah, Dexter was a
laugh riot. I loved it when they slapped each other, as well as when Ben Stiller tricked him with the keys!
LOL!
Bill - Ahh yes – the part with the keys was hilarious.
[spoil]“Told you there was a storm comin’…” - Ben Stiller[/spoil]
I think my favorite inhabitant of the museum, however, was the t-rex. Can’t resist those dinosaurs.

Rexy was cool and all, but Mitch, my favorite museum
inhabitant has got to be Ahkmenrah, otherwise known as Pharoah Hotness. ![]()
I just saw it tonight with
my friend, and we were cracking up through the whole thing. I literally laughed so hard it hurt (long story).
There were two couples in the theatre, too (I guess that’s what you get for seeing a 9:30 show), and I wonder if
we were too loud, you know? Oh well.
The whole cast was funny - did anyone
else think of the Geico cavemen when they saw the neanderthals? - but most of all, I loved Ben Stiller, Robin
Williams, Owen Wilson (I can only imagine what it was like on set with those three), and the guy who played
Octavius, as well as Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, and Bill Cobbs (the two scenes in the credits with them -
especially the second one - were so funny!). Ahkmenrah was cute, but he didn’t have much of a chance to be
funny. He made up for it, though. ![]()
Long story short, this movie just made my favorites list. And
now, even though I’m still wound up from laughing for two hours (can you tell?), I’m going to try to
sleep.
KE - Wow
– I’ve never seen you so excited before! (snigger)
Heheh – well, in my book, dinosaurs rock over
pharoahs anyday! But that’s just me.

Glad you liked it. It seems like this film is a bigger hit
than I thought it would be; almost everybody seems to love it. And I don’t blame them; it was hilarious. I hope
you got some sleep after all that laughing. ![]()
Blehh … you … you … Americans! ![]()
No
… racism or hate or whatever intended, I assure you, just that Steve Coogan’s the Owen Wilson of England.
![]()
And he’s the only reason I saw it. I couldn’t help it- I’ll see any film as long as it has a
favorite actor/actress of mine in it. And though this wasn’t the best film, it’s certainly worth
watching.
A friend of my friend’s … well he claims he ‘found’ a bootlegger, but it turned out to be
horrible. The voices were low and ghastly sounding … sounded like some … heckish demons. ![]()
my friend saw this movie she told me about these
dudes that come alive and say “Hey dum-dum did you bring me some gum-gum?” she’s been saying it
all week.
so i’m like okay… i hear it was funny but i don’t know exactly
what this movie is about i mean i know it’s about this museum and things come alive but i still don’t
understand
CarFreak - Heheh
– the confusion abounds. Well, in a nutshell…
[spoil]Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) is a
down-on-his-luck father who can’t seem to manage to fix himself a suitable, permanent job position. In a last,
desperate attempt to prove to his son that he is not a complete loser, he hooks himself a career in the
historical field: in an elaborate museum.
Little does he know that, when the lights go out at night, the
residents within the museum – including an army of Roman soldiers, Teddy Roosevelt, and even a Tyranosaurus Rex
– come alive and wander around the facility like kids in a playground.
Larry has to learn the art of
responsibility and steadfastness in order to secure his new position as museum night watchman and prove to his
family that he can handle anything.[/spoil]
To tell you the truth, I didn’t like at as much as
I thought I did. However, that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t a fair few parts in the film that generated quite
a collage of laughs. ![]()
okay thanx ![]()
