Old Priest Predicts The Rapture To Occur On May 21st, 2011

Welp, it was supposed to begin in New Zealand at 6PM there, but it’s over with, and NOTHING HAPPENED! They’re just fine over there apparently.

I’d like to say to the face of the person who started this rumor; ‘HA HA!’

It’s not 6 PM over here…

It’s almost 2:00 PM where I am.

It’s about 9:00pm where I am. Nothing has happened…at all. I personally think this is a load of garbage. I wouldn’t listen to this guy at all, he’s just a religious fanatic trying to scare us.

And no, I’m not an anti-religious person. I even have relatives who are Christians.

Just 3 hours and 41 minutes left…

Woo-Hoo! 6:48, and I’m not dead. Silly old priest.

Yay for a boring, non-apocalyptic day!

 I was in church at six, and the whole place was watching the clock as they went up to Communion, crazy kids they are. But I’m happily undead.

I agree with both the people above me.

It’d 8:00 PM here and now 6:00 PM where he live’s.

Nothing happened to me! 7:57 PM, and i feel great! I guess the only thing that could end the world here is some rain, but that would just end the day!

But, regarding the athiest comments i’m making, I’m cool with people being religious and i’m especially cool with them as long as their lenient on the whole trying-to-convert me thing, I have the christian spirituality of love thy neighbor but the athiest idea that the bible is just another long fictional novel.

I’M ALIVE!

not that that’s very surprising, but whatever, lol. i was at starbucks when it was supposed to happen. so many people i know were texting me all day, like, freaking out. xD

My sympathy for the leader is kind of rapidly diminsihing. I’m less sure if he’s just some guy who is mislead and now I’m more leaning to the idea he is a scam artist.

A fair number of people gave all their money to him(*). About 72 million dollars in total if what I’ve read is reliable.

And there are no refunds.

You horrible man, I don’t care if it was idiotic they trusted you- give their money back! Some of them are going to die from starvation or lose their homes if you don’t! While I think it was a dumb move, it still isn’t right for people to have lost all their livelihoods like that. It’s like the person trusting the Nigerean royalty email. I actually think it’s kind of mean to laugh at someone who falls for it as if they deserve it. Because they really don’t and it just seems cruel.

No-one deserves the lack of a ability of buying necessities by the money they earned or inherited themselves because someone tricked them (intentionally or not). And keeping the money to himself is just horrible. I mean I guess some has been spent on those trucks and the advertising but qive back all you have left of what was donated to you. ALL OF IT. You should not keep a single penny. If you have a heart at all oh wonderful leader. And no before you ask, you can’t like say donate a million to charity and think that’s okay if that’s your plan. As far as I’m concerned the transaction should have been that they donate to advertising sure, but if it doesn’t happen you give what’s left back. It’s simply the moral and right thing to do.

Anything which hasn’t been spent should be taken from him.

Though likely the law is on his side. Unfortunatly.

(*)You may wonder WHY they didn’t think this was suspicious, but no doubt it was through costs on spreading the word. Thing is he has like 72 million dollars from it. While I’m sure he didn’t skimp on advertising or anything, thing is he wouldn’t have spent THAT much.

I wonder how the priest who predicted this feels right now.

Haha, nothing happened. These are the kind of people you see on the streets holding up signs like “THE END IS NEAR”. It’s best not to listen to them.

I read a guy named Robert Fitzpatrick spent all his life saving’s on this. At the end at 6:00 New York time, he said “I don’t understand why nothing has happened,” “I did what I had to do. I did what the Bible said.” “I obviously haven’t understood it properly, because we’re still here.”

I guess this Rapture tells us how even more paranoid and sacrificial these people are going to get once 2012 hits the shores…

New’s Channel’s may even have a countdown.

2012’s going to be interesting, especially when it doesn’t happen  Poor, mislead people. It’s a shame that some people spent lots of their savings on this though, now what’s going to happen to them?

Chaos…
