Hello everyone,
Exactly two days ago, my mom, sister, aunt, and I took a long-awaited and much-needed trip to Disneyland. To say that I deserved that vacation is a gross understatement. (And yes, I quoted Ego on that. Heh…)
Let’s just say that I worked my butt off over the last three months and did not receive one bout of decent time to myself (or with my family) at all during that time until last Saturday. And, believe you me, I milked the cow until the mllk was stale and dry that weekend; we stayed at the place until…1:30 AM or later. (There’s nothing like sipping hot chocolate on a moonlit night in Disneyland park after filling your heart with satisfaction and pleasure, let me tell you.)
I will say right now that I enjoyed myself immensely. The highlight of the trip was, believe it or not, spending some time with my sister in California Adventure Park’s “A Bug’s Land”, a little kiddy park filled with water spouts and fun-filled activities. I hadn’t felt that refreshed and overcome with sun-kissed joy since I was ten years old. I felt like a kid again…
Most of our time was spend lounging around California Adventure Park, but we did spend a few near-to-worthwhile moments in Disneyland, as well. Here is a collection of pictures that I took that showcased the trip:

I never did get a picture of the WALL-E poster, as the stupid glare was not in my favor.
As for the Ratatouille models, I’m willing to bet my bike that they were sculpted by Jerome Ranft (Joe Ranft’s brother) himself. Pretty darn cool!
At exactly 7:55 PM that night, all of us (my mom, sister, aunt, and I) went to see Ratatouille…again. The sound was a little fuzzy at the beginning, and you could hear the fireworks booming overheard during the middle of the film, but I enjoyed it immensely, as always. My aunt loved it, too. She’s actually the first person I’ve met who admits that Django is their favorite character. Heheh. ![]()
So yeah. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. I consider Disneyland to be something of a “home away from home”, as odd and unusual as that may sound. I absolutely love the place and the distinct aroma it emits. Just look at that sunset. Quite lovely… Heheh. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In
