Pixar Animation Studios - Role Playing Game

Hey guys, mind if I jump in? Role-playing is fun for me. Hey, Dragon of Omnipotency, we all do it sometimes.

Location: Entrance Hallway, Pixar Animation Studios

Occupation: storyboard artist

Currently Working On: Toy Story 3

Action: Loppy shyly clutches her sketchbook to her chest. “Oh great, I’m lost…” It was her first day on the job, and Loppy figured she’d get the boot if she couldn’t get to her assigned area. Loppy was a shy, short person, and the big studios at Pixar intimidated her.

((baw kind of lame first post D: ))

Dragon of Omnipotency - I was actually referring to several individuals of whose names I shall not disclose for privacy reasons. Please don’t take it personally or feel that you have to drop out of the game on account of this. I was simply sending out a general warning, as I wish to keep this thread (and this forum board) as family friendly as possible.

OoC:

Yeah, I wasn’t feeling very fine when I made my previous post, so just ignore what I said, and I hope we have no hard feelings.

Dragon of Omnipotency - Oh no, don’t worry about it. There are no hard feelings at all. I hope that you feel better soon.

Back on-topic…

Hey Dragon, could we please quit the whole story about us with the whole Disney drama?

I’m sorry, but it wasn’t very fun. Since we’re not playing characters, but ourselves, some of the things you said to me did not make me feel good.

Why don’t we start over, kay?

Nah, I don’t really feel like posting anymore till something interesting comes up, or if I feel the need to post again.

See you guys next time.

First time I’ve been in an RPG, at least in a long time.

Occupation: Actor

Currently working on: Monsters Inc. 2

Location: Recording Room

Action: SgtYayap had little prior acting experience, so naturally, it was a rough learning curve. Even now he had vivid memories of making the wrong movements as he said his lines. After quite a few attempts, however, he finally started to get the hang of it, finishing up the scene with his first appearance in the sequel to Monsters, Inc.

Occupation: Director of M.I. 2

Location: Office

“So…how’s the noob…” Randall mumbled outloud, looking over his papers still.
Nexas blinked, leaning back in his chair. “The new actor?..He’s doing good…I see good progress for him…”
“GOOD? Is that with or without weighing he’s the only one on the payroll” Randall scoffed.
Nexas glared at him. “Come on Randall…don’t sound like that…”. Randall grunted, turning his attention back to his papers. “I swear…once we get this film out…I hope you aren’t so high-strung…”

Woah, haven’t visited this thread in awhile!

Location: My office

Occupation: Animator

Currently Working On: Toy Story 3

Action: Hannahmation jumped in her seat and turned to the doorway when she heard Mitch enter. Startled by this sudden visit, Hannah looked curiously at Mitch as she franticly explained her problem. After Mitch calmed down, Hannah proceeded to talk.

“First off. Don’t worry about leaving in a rush. I had to see my supervisor not too long ago myself. I was actually on my way to your office when I got the call from him… which leads me to this.” Hannah pulled out Mitch’s Cintiq pen from her pocket. “You left this behind at the Luxo Cafe. It must have dropped from your bag.” She handed the pen back to Mitch.

(OT: I doubt we’ll see replies from Mitch anytime soon. Seems she hasn’t posted on the board in over two weeks (since Aug 1)…)

Occupation: Performer (actor/singer)

Location: Recording room

Action: TSS, an actor with more experience, gives SgtYayap a pat on the back.

"You did well for your first try. You are still green, but you are polishing up your skills rather quickly.

Occupation: Performer (actor/singer)*

Location: Recording Room

Action: SgtYayap responded to TSS, “Thanks. You don’t know how much that means to me.” Shortly after he said this, however, he remembered what he was doing, and resumed attempting to memorize the script for next time.

*By the way, sorry about misnaming the occupation .

Occupation: Performer (actor/singer)

Location: Recording room

Action:

TSS: Hey SgtYayap, you don’t have to memorize your scipt. Remember, the character is doing the acting, you just provide the voice. Try getting in character. That way, the lines come naturally.

OoC: Holy crap! I thought everyone forgot this thread!!!

Location: My office

Occupation: Writer

Currently Working On: Cars 2

Action: L&D had made it back to her office, smiling thinking about how well things had went over at the Disney board meeting. But she had to get working on the script for Cars 2. She sat down and started writing a scene with Doc and Lightning in it. She was happy that they had all decided to keep Doc in the movie even after Paul Newman had passed away. His character had so much to offer to the sequel. The scene she was writing really showed that Lightning had changed, grown even, since the beginning of the first movie. That’s what this entire scene was trying to show. She paused writing after finishing the scene. She took a deep breath and wondered to herself, “What if these characters were real people? That’d be amazing!” But she knew a whole world of talking cars could never exist. She sighed dissapointedly before turning back to her rough-draft of the script. “At least they’re real in my mind.” she said before starting onto the next scene.

OoC: I honestly have no clue if Doc is to return in Cars 2. It’s just a role-play, so I can say he’s returning.
