Lee Unkrich xD I think he brought something new and different to Toy Story 3 he definitely has his own style! 
of course John lasseter, because he started all this madness… then Brad Bird. The other guys like Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich or Pete Docters, they are just followers but without John’s help or other people help, no chance.
I would have to choose Stanton because the two films he directed, Wall-E and Finding Nemo, also happen to my two favorite Pixar films. John Lasseter is a close second!
When I first concidered my choice, I have to admit that I was leaning towards picking Andrew Stanton because of his superior writing talents with WALL-E, my ultimate favorite Pixar film.
But I choose John Lasseter, because I know and I realize that it was because of his view of story telling, his creative imagination, and his belief in Pixar is what made the studio what it started out to be oh-so-many-years ago, and how it is so special and spectacular today!
Out of all of the Pillars of Pixar, John Lasseter is the one who started the base of them all.
At least, that’s my opinon.
I chose John Lasseter, because he is so inspiring to me. I can’t think of anyone in the world who inspires me more than he does. This might sound a little childish but, I want to be just like him when I grow up.
I think my favorite is Pete Docter. Monsters Inc was my favorite when I was little, and now Up is my favorite! Next would probably Andrew Stanton.
Brad Bird/John Lasseter
My favorite would definitely be John Lasseter. He was the one that got all the good story-building in there back in the early days, and I’m not sure Pixar would have been the same without him. Of course, I still like all the other directors (I can’t choose who would be second) 
, and along with that I like many of the other creators, such as Lee Unkrich(why wasn’t he listed as a director?), Joe Ranft, Glenn McQueen…

And I think Lee isn’t listed because this poll was created in 2008, long before TS3 came out.
Stanton.Both Wall-E and Nemo especially are in my top five favorite Pixar films.They are very involving,both intellectually and espcially emotionally.Can’t wait to see what he does next!
