I checked on the pixar employment status site, and figured out that when they marked my web application as a ‘nope’, it automatically generated an email to my email account; the time difference between the pixar site and my email box was 3 minutes.
So rest assured, as soon as they update your status on their website, you’ll find out
OMG. i just noticed there was a “PDF ONLY” note where i uploaded my Word resume…i totally missed it the first time. Should I upload another one or would that just push my application date? hoooow did i miss this!!! aaahhhh
There a few things that can happen here. They may not mind or they may just shrug you off because you can’t follow instructions. I do miss these things too, you’re not the only one. Also think about it this way. The application seems to just be a general application that they keep in their database. You select the positions you’re interested in and just hit submit to apply once you have a completed application. I could be wrong though…
thanks joro, it’s nice to have some perspective on it, but i’m definitely not holding my breath now. pixfan, did you apply for the post-production position? did you notice that you uploaded the wrong one right away?
I received an email for PUP, asking for a phone interview on the 17th of march. I submitted on the 5th, I think? The interview was about two weeks ago. I’m waiting for a reply, and this wait feels like forever! haha
Oh by the way, my resume was submitted as a .doc format. I specifically remember that was fine. They seemed to have just changed where it says PDF only on the site. So I wouldn’t worry about that.
I had a mini-heartattack with the PDF file thing too, but as sari_brielle said, it was something they updated after ours were applications were turned in;
I doubt the smartie people here would’ve missed a bold red piece of text next to the submit button
