I haven’t submitted my app yet but I’m planning to apply for the Publicity and the Marketing internships. The Publicity one sounds especially fun!! :smiley:
Do you know how many interns Pixar takes on for these positions?

Also I don’t know if its the same all around, but for PUP they accept less than 10 or so. It might be less of interns.

I know that a few of the applications from my school got the interview emails that were sent out last night (for the TD program).

When I was a PUP two years ago, there were 12 of us. Last year I think there were also 12 and the year before there were 10.

How important is the requirement that you must have completed your JUNIOR year of college?
Do you still have a slight chance if you are in the process of completing your sophomore year lol?

I think at the end of the day, as long as you haven’t already graduated, it matters more about the quality of your work. Though I would say juniors have a better chance.

But what does publicity/marketing internship entail?

Has anyone heard back from any March 15 deadlines, or is now a little early?
Also, do they for sure send out rejection letters or some sort of feedback? Surely, they won’t leave us hanging until we realize that we are not in the running a few months down the road.
In their email they wrote: “we are unable to respond to applicants individually (as much as we’d like to!) or to provide feedback. If you do not hear from us, we invite you to re-apply in the future if another position of interest is posted.”

Hi : ) For those of you who got emails for interviews, about how long did you have to wait from the application deadline ? ( Congrats by the way!)

I think generally they get back to you within the week after deadline, and most likely on a weekday.
Rejection letters go out with official acceptance letters. So for our March deadlines, acceptances are in April.

Any one have an interview today? How’d it go?

I just received a rejection email from Pixar for the TD:GT intern. But received a call from another big studio just a few minutes after.

I’m still waiting for the post production decision.
I can’t tell if no news is good news or not.
Apparently, people are hearing back already for most of their positions.

I got mine during the second week after the deadline (9 days).

My interview isn’t until Thursday. Have you gone yet?
