That’s so cute!
I’m not obsessed with Pixar as a company but I’m totally obsessed with Cars!!
<img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif" alt=":loves:" title="In <p>Love" /> To me that movie isn’t just a movie - it is a whole lot more! It is very special to me in a way I cannot</p> <p>explain here, and it has got a big impact on my troubled life!<br> At this very moment I have seen the movie 72</p> <p>times, but that number increases all the time. I have loads of Cars toys and merchandise. I surround myself with</p> <p>Cars stuff because it makes me feel comfortable. It has become a way for me to cope with life.<br> And please</p> <p>don’t criticise me for this, I’m not like most people.</p>I love the DVDs since
when you think you’ve done everything with them, you can always listen to audio commentary. I watched TS the
other day and the rest of TS2 last night. Odd to say the movie still has excitement even with their voices
drowning out the characters.
I’m trying to find the pic I loaded of my Cars collection. It probably
doesn’t outmatch most people here, but I’m proud of it anyways. ^^ I’ll look more for it later; I have to go
to school. =P
They actually showed TS2 on TV the other day, and that’s the thing with Pixar films- if it
were a film by another company that I had seen several times already, then I’d probably watch five minutes and
then change the channel, but with a Pixar film, it just encaptures you and makes you want to watch more!
Believe me, that’s the
last thing we’d do here. If we all weren’t so obsessed with Pixar and its films
and characters we wouldn’t be here.
lizardgirl - My thoughts exactly.
Something about Pixar’s films are just captivating from the start: the story, the characters, the settings…
You don’t mind watching their productions over and over again, no matter how many times you’ve seen them.
Whenever they show a Pixar film on tv I always get so excited for some reason, even though I already have the
movies on tape.
Not to mention, I think it’s safe to say that I am now 100%
obsessed with Ratatouille. I’m a complete
“ook”. Here’s the tally so far:
Favorite character:
Remy
Favorite trailer: Japanese trailer
Number of times I’ve
seen the teaser: 30-40
Number of times I’ve seen the American
trailer: 55
Number of times I’ve seen the “Behind-the-Scenes” clip
with Brad Bird: 5
Amount of Ratatouille-related
pictures I’ve printed out and hung on the walls: 10+
So yeah, I’m obsessed to the apple
core. However, I think the main fact that rats are some of my favorite animals has something to do with it. After
experiencing how wonderful those little fuzzies can be, you can’t help but get attatched to the little rascals.
Remy just brings all the fond memories back – heheh.
Yeah, we know you’re crazy about Ratatouille, but you’re a
“ook”? I’ve never heard that word before…not that I’m “up” on all the latest slang!
Gasduude - Haha – go to the link below and scroll down to my very last post on
that page:

“Ook” is a silly word
that my family and I use to describe someone who is deeply obsessed with something to the point of insanity. He
uses that word alot when talking about Star Wars, which is his favorite film series.
Mitch – Awesome! I love your family’s ranking system! (Haha) I see: “Ook” is the
ultimate level of fandom. That’s great!
Tee hee – thanks, dude! Yeah, we’re a
crazy bunch…but that’s what happens when you live with a family of animators.
Just
45 more viewings until I’ve seen the Ratatouille
trailer 100 times! Oh, and I also forgot to mention that I know every single line in all of the trailers and the
teaser, unsurprisingly.
Thanks . And I guess you’re right .
Mitch- I know I’ve said this before, Mitch, and I’m not
trying to criticize you or anything at all, and you’re DEFINITELY a major, major fan of Ratatouille, but I
honestly don’t think that the number of times you’ve seen the trailer and that kind of thing shows how much of
a fan you are of something. It’s the fact that you get so excited when some news or something about Ratatouille
comes up, or that you’re keen to talk about Remy and that you feel for him- that’s
what makes you such a massive Ratatouille fan.
The Loner - Heheh – you’re welcome.
lizardgirl - Haha – cha, I knew you were gonna mention that.
I
understand and agree with you completely: it’s not solely the fact of how many times one has seen a film and/or
its trailers really, but how much he/she cares about that particular production and the characters who reside
within it. Make no mistake, I have a very deep love for this film that goes beyong seeing the dang thing three
thousand times; seriously, Remy is like my computer animated counterpart… (snigger)
But I may as well
go ahead and blatently admit it: I love to brag. I hate myself for doing it, but I do.
Intresting statistics Mitch. I see you are a hardcore fan. Now I just wonder how high your
“ratatouille rival” Sharpie is gonna compare to that.
The Star
Swordsman - Haha – my “ratatouille rival”. I like that.
Good question. Good
ol’ sharpie is going to have some competition though, I can tell you that.
(snigger)
Well,
why not just take Mitch’s Stats and you compare it to your own?
My fan title remains untouched.
<img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif" alt=";-D" title="Grin and <p>Wink" /></p> <p>~~=oP</p>PV:
Are you talking about your “love intrest” Tony Rydinger? How many times do you kiss a picture of him?
My fan title remains
untouched. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and
Wink" />
~~=oP
Haha! Yeah, we know that. I’m dying to
read your response to The Star Swordsman’s second question. (snigger)
PV: Are you talking about your "love
intrest" Tony Rydinger? How many times do you kiss a picture of him?
(Ouch!)
I feel bad. I am
sorry PV. Sorry for teasing you.
