Yes, in June, right after it opened to the public.
Do you like Pixar Place?
I love it and I can’t wait for the expansion, I especially like the sign, but I wish it didn’t leave the word ‘animation’ out of it. The little Luxo hopping on the ball on top of the Pixar Place “road sign” is a nice touch too. I also like how they went with the ‘bricks and metal’ factory look just like at the studios in Emeryville.

It fits right in with the other “streets” I couldn’t have thought of anything better!
What other ride besides Toy Story Midway Mania do you want at Pixar Place?
Well, supposedly they are having a Monsters, Inc, coaster there, so that sounds cool, besides that, maybe a Cars Land type attraction, but of smaller scale, or a show, like Mickey’s PhilharMagic, but with Pixar characters.
What stuff do you want them to have at the Pixar shop at Pixar Place?
Pixar short films toys, general Pixar collectibles and more shirts, when I went there, the shop hadn’t opened yet, unfortunately. 
I’ll have to go soon or order a shirt from a friend who’s going (since I live in Florida) to get a shirt.
Bottom line: A+ Pixar experience, definitely worth it!
I have some good news and bad news for you Martini833. I just went this year twice to disney world in june 2008 and august 2008 and when i went in August they had sadly not a big pixar shop but a little outdoor shop that has toy story stuff and a pixar logo T-shirt that i bought a hat and a coat. Not just that but a outdoor snack shop and a indoor meet and greet toy story characters place. Pixar Place is expanding
The only thing i am mad at is that they don’t have a big indoor pixar shop

I was at Disneyworld for a week and I left immediately after it opened. I was not banging my head against my wall after that.
Who wants a wall-e ride or a incredibles ride at pixar place 
The Incredibles is very ride-able, so it would be cool to have an action packed attraction based on it. I bet I’d be happy with just about anything Pixar related there as long as it’s fun, though!

Loved it! When I turned the corner and saw the Pixar sign I actually dropped to the ground and started taking pics. I was so excited to see that and when I got there it was great seeing “the Pixar building” and all these green army men were walking around and Toy Story music was being played. It was great!

Pixart & lennonluvr9: So you guys didn’t know what to expect, or did you never hear about Pixar Place until you actually got there?
I saw pictures of it and now I wonder how I would’ve felt not knowing about it? I don’t regret knowing though, it made planification easier and it was still an awesome sight.

I would love for there to be an Incredibles attraction there. I see either an intense ride or a fun show.
There should be a WALL-E ride called “WALL-E: The Axiom” or “WALL-E: Down to Earth”
Martini- well I only knew about the PIXAR sign because I’d seen a picture of it, but other than that I really didnt know what was there.
I am looking forward to going into here in November/December and getting on TSM.
I went to Pixar Place two weeks ago. It was pretty exciting. I was running towards it snapping pictures like a madman. It was rather small, but hey, what can you expect? I don’t think they could add any more rides to it besides Toy Story Mania.
I agree they should put a Wall-E attraction somewhere in there. Probably at Hollywood Studios. I could definitely see them replacing “Star Tours” with a Wall-E ride. The inside is already very Axiom-ish. It even has robots that talk. It would make all the Star Wars fanatics really mad, but whatever, haha!
The way the franchise is going, that’s becoming less of an issue each year.
True. Star wars is pretty boring anyway.
I don’t find Star Tours boring. I find it really intresting. BUt I think it would be neat to have it sorta WALL-E based.

I live in California, so I’ve been on many, many, many trips to Disneyland Resort. But I’ve never been to Disney World! There is no place called “Pixar Place” at Disneyland Resort, but California Adventure is basically becoming a Pixar Theme Park. (Pixar pardes, toy story mania, Monsters, Inc Mike & Sulley to the Rescue, Turtle Talk with Crush, Cars meet and greets, a bug’s land, Cars land, half of World of Color is Pixar. It’s basically Pixar land!)

WHAT OTHER RIDE?
An Up or WALL-E ride. Because not only do I love those rides, but they don’t have any ride like that in Disneyland. I’d like to try something new!
WHAT STUFF DO YOU WANT?
Clothes for teenagers and adults! Pixar clothes are hard to come by for those age groups.
