I really want to watch Star Trek, and Jurassic Park. If we let participants know in advance then they could rent the film from their library or video store, or perhaps even Peter could do what he usually does and share around a file of the movie over Skype, if he’s happy to do that.
Whoa, is Star Trek already out on DVD in Australia? It doesn’t come out in the in the US til November.

Even though I doubt I’ll make it for the movie if I make it Saturday, I really think we should go through all the available Pixar films before moving on to something else.
Ethics and morals vary from person to person, but that’s fine. I guess I can just wait until November. I agree that we should try to watch all the Pixar films first.

Maybe we need to start a “What movies do you have?” Thread, or have everyone interested PM ffdude their video lists. That way, We can create a list of the most common to the least common owned films and go in that order. I’d think we’d only make a list of the DVD’s that we have, since watching a VHS requires a television as well.
I want to start doing this, but I donno when I’ll get the time to. If it’s in the morning, I won’t be able to because of school starting next week.
I wouldn’t mind doing that. Like I said before, I think we should round out the Pixar collection, we still have Wall•E, Cars, and TS1 left, (wow, we’ve done 6 of these already?!) and we can re-do A Bug’s Life with thewisecookiesheet, Mitch, and some others. They said they love that movie, and our gathering with it was rather,… lackluster. Only if you guys want to, or if we really need more time to set up non-Pixar movies, but I imagine 3 weeks is plenty.
You guys can start compiling your collection of movies you want to see, PM them to me, and I’ll set up a system for finding out what we can watch. I will note that I have a ton of Disney movies, but not many on DVD. Don’t let that stop you from picking movies though, I can manage. I suggest you actually go look through your movies so you can find stuff you might not think of.
