Another successful gathering! Definitely the best viewing of Cars I’ve had, I even cried twice! Haha! Thanks for a great time guys, very fun!

Gah, missed it again. Was working today. I am so determined to actually have the time to attend one of these properly one day! But I’m pleased you all had a good time watching Cars. I can imagine watching a Pixar movie with fellow Pixar fans makes it all the more fun.
I had tons of fun last night. Incredibly hectic, what with people typing in the chat window while trying to comment at the same time, coupled with an unexpected crisis to start it all, but we pulled through!
We talked everything, from Perry the Platypus to Halloween costumes, Aston Martins to Pixarian voice cameos, a Scottish (not British) princess to one particularly spoilerific Japanese trailer, and everything else in between. It’s more fun than a tornado in a trailer park!

Its kind of the same way with the movie night… we work through the movie in one take, and comment (often in a melee as there are quite a few of us) on the movie and the actors looking up their history and what they are also infamous for, quoting the movie and even bringing the several other movies into the conversation (Normally Up) If you want to speak you get the opportunities, and then after the movie we have a general chit chat about anything and everything…
last week for example whilst ffdude had technical difficulties we filled the time with talk on Cars 2 (Fin McMissile & Doc’s Appearence), Bear and the Bow, Timothy Dalton’s appearance in Toy Story 3… and afterwards we talked about everything we did before and more as we have differing people in the mix
We use the text box before the call is made, and throughout the movie to ask questions and such whilst we talk over the movie in the background.
So we use both.
