I don’t think they have started on any other department for call backs. They are still working on Pup. I am Marketing as well, Hurley. I haven’t had an update either. From what I am gathering if you haven’t gotten a rejection letter they probably haven’t started calling everyone back for it yet. Keep your chin up! I think they are trying to settle their biggest department first. I think they might get to us closer to May… I feel better knowing I am not the only one.

it’s refreshing. I think without you, this forum would be a bunch of people worrying themselves to death and getting increasingly more and more paranoid about the internships XD
hi everyone! new to this board, but I see all of us are in the waiting game, most of us in the pre-interview stage…
I guess I am the 3rd or 4th one here in this thread who has applied for the Post Production internship! when did you guys submit yours in? mine was sent April 12th on Friday 'cause i’ve decided to spend about two weeks (not everyday though) polishing up cover letter and resume… i’m just a bit curious as to how long the wait time will be, but then again, it’s only been 4 days since deadline for post production!

Lol I try to be! Thank you :3 I think someone has to keep hope up. There is already too much negative stuff in the world. I have had a lot of bad things happen and all you can do is pick back up and keep going. I still think everyone in here has a great shot with the wonderful work they have posted!

hmm, then I guess this will take some time! very nervous right now, because the internship that i’m doing right now until end of this month is the first one i’ve done since 2008 and i’m about to graduate… hoping i will get a call back or something!
I think the wait might run into may from what I am guessing.
Yay post! I sent mine in on the 8th, still nothing. I had a dream last night I had an interview and got in, so sad to wake up this morning.
Just curious what your experience in Post Production is like?
I would think some of us would of heard back from our individual departments if they were making call backs in those departments. I mean 3 people so far from this forum have. I hope that gives you guys some hopes.

C.Rose - i’ve been primarily doing music production since early 2007, and have done a local internship in San Francisco for a year during high school involving general music production, but audio production as well… interviews, podcast, sound art, audio for video (such as scoring)… it’s just been primarily music production and post-production as well… same for audio-for-video. so it’s a bit more production and post-production for me in a way, i guess… you?
Yeah, it seems that they called most of the people for the first round of PUP last week and scheduled their interviews shortly after. And everyone’s supposed to hear back this week (and its already Thursday), so I don’t think I’ll be getting a call back. According to the website though(if you can really tell that way), they still haven’t looked at my application. I guess lesson learned though: always submit internship applications early.
can’t really say that… that’s like turning in an assignment a couple of hours before due date and then professor marks it as late and gives you no credit… 
I don’t know if the update is really a determining factor. I mean I know mine was updated on the 12th after submitting on the 6th. I don’t think Kev’s was updated before he called. I don’t know if it a reliable factor. They might have looked at the reels as they came in and calling back based on that. I don’t know I can’t tell you on that. I know the process for the others, besides art, is going to go fast. Art they are more than likely looking over now and narrowing the choices.
Good point, I do think they might look at your reels first and go back to review your resume and whatnot if they’re interested.
I looked at my status and it is updated. I applied for public relations, marketing, and post production. Since the latter only recently closed, I’m assuming it has something to do with the first two. Or even more likely, means nothing at all. Nevertheless…I’m still waiting.
As far as Marketing I think they might have looked over those that were early or anyone who turned in early. They might not update till the time of. As for Pup. I think your resume is a good factor but really its about your skills and creativity that your reel should show. That is your working resume. There are other departments that don’t require work where looking at a resume is more important. We also can’t forget there might be a high volume this year and not rejecting anyone till they sort through it all. Depending on the applicants they take in that department might determine the rest of the departments too.
To me this would be a life changing event and I would be thankful to be even considered. I still say that despite all the unknowns just don’t over stress and make yourself sick. Stay safe while you are home with all the crazy things going on in the news! May you all be safe in your day to day events!

Your experience in post makes me really nervous! I can check off everything that was on the requirements but as far as how long I’ve had experience in it, I can’t say since high school. Not really anyway, with the software they require. I hope there is enough room for people like me!
ohh man… I just got my PUP acceptance call!!! This is so surreal, I was actually taking a nap when they called, the whole time I thought it was a dream haha…
