My understanding is that HR will weed out everyone who is blatantly unqualified (well over half of applicants, especially for internships and entry level positions) and the rest get passed to the department heads for review. They pick out the ones they want to interview, and then work with HR to conduct the interviews.
On a non internship related note, I love that I get to use babysitting as an excuse to watch Pixar movies. Not that I need one, but when a 3 and 5 year old are begging to watch the Incredibles, it’s a fun night

I tried to do that with my résumé by researching what things they look for. I’m marketing so I need to know how to market me through my résumé. These guys look for both technical and creativity. This is your chance to let loose and bare it all. My dad sends me these things from buisness insider and I do my own look up. I still think you guys have a wonderful group of talent and should be very proud of your work! I hope you guys still keep getting calls. I’m still holding on to hope when they start calling Marketing I have a shot. I really really want this like everyone of you… I just hope more of us get a chance. Think Positive! Keep hope and either over the weekend or next week more will hear call backs!
My cats like Ratatouille! XD Coda my smallest will perk up and run to the tv pawing the screen wanting to play. Up is a pick me up movie with Wall-E. I am such a animation nut I am spazing over the new Monsters Univeristy stickers we got for our theater wall! Ill post it later! :3

nope. but I have a strong feeling they are done with PUP or possibly some last acceptance calls this coming week. Hold you hats on EVERYONE ELSE, because the ride is just beginning and will only get faster!

These next 2 weeks are going to be a killer
I’m nervous… But don’t forget their are some people who have turned this down they might have late call backs! Don’t give up! I think that up until that last week in may they will be calling. Smaller time on some groups… I hope everyone gets a shot! I wish I do too… I really need this… It would give me hope! It would make me less scared for August.
Mainly nervous because I may have addressed the envelope incorrectly when I sent it. Did Attn: art internship, rather than Attn: recruiting art internship. Just hoping it got into their hands in time

dang it, it’s only Sunday… 
I have to wait till 11am before I need to worry. That 3 hour time difference throws me off most days. It’s 5pm there is like 9pm here. They called Kev on a Sunday I believe but I think they were going over time for Pup. I don’t think they will do that again till Art. They have 8 internship fields this year. They have up to 60-80 interns over the summer. They are going to have a decent amount of people. Keep your chins up! Someone said its 8-12 people when they asked about Pup. Don’t know the numbers this year. They are going to pick a good number for the internships. Monday is just around the corner!
I am hoping the post-production section will have a good amount of seats available as well!

no, I only applied for the post production internship, because that was my best expertise… the other one I was considering was the storytelling internship… well, I think it was an internship for that or it was a job position… forgot. but the post-production deadline ended one week ago, so I guess it’s good that I can still try to anticipate something in the next week or two… that’s also a bad thing, too, haha, 'cause waiting is very tough!
