Hey don’t bet on my assumptions. I really don’t want to discourage you guys or anyone that they aren’t getting their internship they want. I am in the same boat as anyone in here hoping. Please don’t take my word as finite truth… I’m sorry I really hope that you get a call back dispite my words. You can laugh with me if they make me eat my words with joy. I’m really sorry to cause you uncertainty!
Hi i’m new here and i found this thread really helpful so i decided to make an account.
I am so incredibly anxious right now. I applied for the art summer internship and i’m still waiting to see if i’ll get a call or not.
Does anyone know when they’ll start going through the art department interns? when i should expect a call?
So far as we know Pup is the only group called.
Well guys, I got my rejection letter so I guessing they are done with PUP.

I got my rejection email today too. xP
They’re done with PUP. Everyone who didn’t get in got their rejection emails today I think (technically yesterday now since its like 3am)… I was surprised cause I didn’t think they were going to tell you if you didn’t get in, but at least now I know for sure.
Sigh.
Fingers crossed that I fare better in getting the Disney internship.

@boggsy and @classyKatelyn Best wishes to both of you. I’m sure you will get other internships and opportunities. One of the better things about PUP is that you are still sophmores and still have a few years to try again!

How is everyone today? I’m sorry that those who started this are getting their Pup rejection letters. Thank you for starting this and talking with everyone. You all are lovely people and I wish you best in everything that you do! Come back to the forum every so often and still chat with us!
To people who got interviews, what day of the week did they call you? Just wondering if there was any pattern there. Still holding out for marketing here.
@classykatelyn Hvae you heard a thing from the disney internships? I check the website and all it still says is thank you for applying.
Town: I don’t think Marketing will come till next week. The reason why I say that is because they seem to be going in order from closing. Public Relations closed before Marketing. Might not be till the first week of May or a bit longer before we hear.
Good luck with ll your other applications to those who got rejection letters. There is so much to do in the world ,and you can get to Pixar by other paths too, you never know!
I’m terribly anxious. I just want to know if I’m rejected now and be done with it!. I also applied to Blue Sky for visual development! and the anxiety is killing me, I’m on my tow final weeks to finish my graduation project and Its so hard to concentrate !
how is everybody holding up? 
The fact that they are busy is completely understandable, but I would be shocked if it took that long because they were going in order. If that were the case, people applying for Post Production wouldn’t get interviews until late May. Really can’t see them hiring interns only days before they would start. Logistically, I feel like all of the calls are going to start coming in at once rather than them going department by department. PUP is a bit different, which is why they probably required the most time.
Town: They are probably going into over time. I mean people got letters 3am. I think the departments that didn’t have to turn in work will take a week or a week of an half. I do think they have the directors of the individual groups looking at art, story, and so on that had to turn in work. I think by the third week in May they will finish up. They seem to be working overtime to get through everything. One or two weekend calls like Kev got one on a Sunday. So we will see.
It is possible they will do Marketing and PR together, or just start the process together because those two can be easily streamlined.
Also I think these internships would start in June if I’m correct? Not in May, so going from June-late August. Most California colleges end in late May/early June anyways, so the recruiting timeline they are going off of is not too unreasonable.
Project: Yes it starts in June I don’t know when in June. I am guessing with all this. I know people on here said their applications got looked at not saying it isn’t far fetched but thats a lot to take on. I think we have to wait and see whats up.
I guess it’s just wishful thinking on my part lol that I’m hoping they can get through marketing/PR fast b/c that means they are looking at less applications = less competition for us.
