I hope post production interviews, etc don’t go past the second week of May. Pixar tops all internships I have applied for and got interviews with. But I can’t reject all in case I don’t get into Pxar. Not only would it be terrible for me to reject a great offer somewhere so last notice, but it is somewhat unfair to them. I do hope we all find out soon! I’m aiming at the first week of May!! Fingers crossed.

Nooo…I have no idea when we’ll hear back from Disney. Things are definitely more obscure there than they are for Pixar. Also my application doesn’t say thank you for applying, it just says that I did apply for a position.
What internship did you apply for? I applied for the rigging one and that closed on the 16th (I think most of them closed on the 16th?). So it hasn’t been that long since it closed, so we might have a while to wait yet.
On their FAQ page it says you can check the status bar on your profile to see how far along they are in the application process, but I have no idea what that is cause I don’t see a status bar on my profile anywhere. xP (Do you??)
I would think they are going to start in on Public Relations this week and then finish it first of next week with Marketing following behind that. Then it will go into one of the other departments. I don’t know so don’t 100% rely on me but so far it seems they are going by group that closed but not spending all its time like they did with Pup.
I would think Art would be its biggest hurdle and they are going to be reviewing those since they got them and narrowing them down in between other things. Don’t forget they have Monsters University comes out May 29th and they will have a celebration of that. They have a busy month.

My best friend said she would bake me a cake if I got into it and have monopoly night with her husband and our friends. I’m 25 and still think that is much better fun than going to a bar because her husbad is a hoot.

I really hope to get called. I’ve seen the portfolios of Demlion and Angipauly and they are fantastic. I wish the best for both of you and others who have applied to the art department as well.
I don’t think Art will hear back asap they will have to go through a lot of portfolios. There are 2 or 3 that closed before Art on the 6th of April. So If they are going in order of closings as soon as you hear the other departments announce their stuff you can assume you are going to get a call back. All the call backs heard about were from Pup and everything else was up in the air. Only rejection letters came to Pup people at the moment so we can assume no other department has been contacted yet. Someone who applied to Public Relations had an update to their profile recently, which could mean nothing. But that they are starting to look at those applicants.

Hey! Wishing you the best with the art internship as well. I agree that the wait is a killer, but I’m glad to have another internship waiting in NYC if this doesn’t work out. But for all of us, Pixar is the BIG prize, that’s for sure Hope that I get to see some of your work soon!
I have NYC internship offers as well! Plan A and Plan B are looking really good!
