They haven’t even looked at mine yet and I’m starting to wonder if they even will. Like what if they fill up all the spots before they even get to mine? Or if they never get to mine? That would be even worse if they just NEVER look at it : (

They’re going to look at all of them. There is no reason why they wouldn’t. If they want to hire the best for the job, then have to see all of their options, so I wouldn’t worry. Which one did you apply for? Sorry if you already said
Hey guys, I’ve been ghosting this board after discovering it a week ago after sending out my application to Pixars art internship. I have toad it that I’m both excited and nervous about this process, and wondering if anyone has heard back from their art department yet? The wait is KILLING me. Anyone else apply for that internship?
If you want to keep yourself 1000% alerted, check your LinkedIn as well guys, if you have one. I don’t use it that much but when I checked the other day it said there was 1 one person from the animation industry looked at my profile. It doesnt say who it was exactly since I only have a basic account on Linkedin, but it does give me a list of “possible viewers”. There were some non-relevant people and 1 Pixar TD, so I just took a wild guess…
Art department only closed on the 6th of this month. It might be closer to later on in the month before you hear back. Marketing people on here have yet to hear back as well as other departments besides Pup.

Don’t stress to much. Trust me its hard to do. I have been doing all sorts of things for good luck and checking everyday. I wish you and everyone the best. Marketing closed on the 31st. They have 8 departments to go through. It might spill into next month possibly. Just stay postivie and held held high! I know how bad all of us want this. Don’t get depressed!

I think the waiting portion is almost as hard as preparing the actual portfolio itself for them. As nervous as I am about all of this, every time I think about it, it gets me excited rather than scared. Either way it’s a learning experience, and a leap of faith is all it takes!
That makes sense logically. Nervous me says otherwise. Hahah. Also I don’t really know if its Pixar so much, but one of my friends said that when Disney does their internship applications sometimes they don’t look at everyone’s because they do go through by date submitted and if they run out of spaces they don’t bother to look at the others. No idea if that’s true, but it freaked me out regardless. xP
And I’m applying for PUP. : )
I don’t think I have a LinkedIn account. Last year I figured I needn’t bother because I was just a freshman and blah, but now that I’m actually applying for stuff I wonder if it would be worthwhile. : P
I’ve been looking at this post for about a week now. I’m in the same waiting game boat. I applied for both Marketing and publicity. It is so nerve racking waiting! I have applied for a few other internships such as Disney and Warner brothers but I’m really hoping for Pixar because then I can commute from home.

Yeah another marketing person! I wish you luck! I am no where close to Pixar but even if I didn’t have a place covered by them for me I have a friend who will let me stay with out there.

I am not going to leave it up the entire time but here it is!
I’m proud of it because I can only draw that character and 4 others. I use that character for my Youtube channel when I travel <3 If I get this internship. He will be traveling alright! XD
In the mean time… Don’t Stress!!! Relax and stay positive! 
I seriously hope that that is not the case. I had to overnight it to get it to them in time, so hopefully they’ll at least LOOK at it XD would be a major shame for someone to get pushed to the curb without consideration like that… Gah! Staying optimistic! Possitivity is key
If it was not for one of my classes I wouldn’t have one either. But since I’m on it now, I do recommend you having one. I don’t really use it for networking, but sometimes you have people visiting your profile and it makes you wonder why they were there for.
No you silly… they would never do that. Don’t get too panic, everyone will get a fair chance. I’m sure they will get to you all.
When you guys uploaded your resumes and cover letters for multiple positoins did you put the different cover letters all in one file?
No one’s looked at mine recently, but I don’t know if that is good or bad. I updated it just in case someone from there looks
