I applied to story as well. I was given a rejection letter around 8 days after they were due. Past years it took around a month to a month and a half for them to give a response to me. My advice is to not worry about checking and just be patient for the response. I know that’s hard to do though haha.
Thanks for the response! I just wanted to see if it was a normal timeframe for them and it seems like it is, so strangely enough that’s kind of reassuring.
Does pixar notify everyone of their decision regardless of acceptance? Or are some people not given rejections and you just assume you didn’t get it?
Has anyone heard anything about the Production Management internships so far?!
Last year I got rejection letters so yes, they do notify you….at some point.
Still waiting! They still haven’t read my application yet (last update date is the same as when I applied). Hopefully we’ll hear soon!
Hey guys, I was an animation intern last year, and I got my acceptance call in the middle of May, if that helps. Some people may hear a little earlier, but apparently a couple people had to decline last year due to visa issues, so it might take a little longer if they have to go to the next person in line. My best guess is that they call people between the 1st & 15th(ish) of May. I thought I’d let you guys know, since I know what it’s like to obsessively check your profile for weeks

Hey everyone! I am new to Pixar Planet. I applied for the Story Internship… I was just wondering if anyone heard anything about it? Nothing has changed at all since I submitted back in March. I know these things take time since there are so many applicants, but I’m just so eager to hear back regardless!

I applied for production management as well and haven’t heard anything back yet either!
Nope, I didn’t have to do an interview. It was purely based on the demo reel, at least for animation. Can’t say for the other disciplines. As for what to expect, you’ll just have to find out when you get there

Things seem kinda quiet today…was there any news? (From any of the departments?)

Anybody else got any interview call for PUP?
I heard at least one or two people from my school already got acceptances to PUP, but I haven’t heard anything else about interviews so far… 
No word so far about marketing. At least for me… I think last summer most people either got rejection letters or acceptances by…I think it was May 10th? Or there abouts.
