@DoreAlley how did you gear that story acceptances were sent? Do you know if they sent out all of them?
Im asking because i was told by someone from HR that they woukd be letting us know early next week.
Hello all! First time posting on this - glad to be a part!
I wanted to look over my application today and clicked the “update” link, and in all the options (work experience, education, ext.) it seemed that only my first school, job, ext. shows up, and there is also no linked CV. I was very careful applying and know I filled everything out fully, but the update page gave me a mini heart attack, as I’m not sure if Pixar sees the ap as I see it.
When you click the update link, are any of you experiencing the same issue where all your previous information and uploads aren’t shown? I am pretty confident it doesn’t affect my application and my application has all the proper information and link, but I’m just curious if anyone else sees what I see.

Can you update a resume or upload new files to the account this late in the game?
In the “Update My Information” section online on our accounts it says to only upload one file. Does anyone know if that means we can’t upload another file to replace it?

Someone on Twitter posted that they got the story internship. I doubt they have chosen everyone, otherwise everyone would have gotten reject emails once all spots are filled.
On a side note- Can you email HR if you have questions? I wasn’t aware that you could.
By the way, I received like 2 or 3 days ago my rejection letter for the Animation Internship.

I don’t think you can email HR, I recieved a phone call from them, to verify my info (they wanted to know if I am authorized to work in the USA). However she told me this was standard procedure prior to the evaluation process so I don’t think it means I was accepted/seriously considered.
and now that people have been tweeting about getting accepted I guess it means that whoever needs to know, knows.
The only reason they probably aren’t sending out rejection emails is because they need to verify that the acceptees confirm their acceptance or something. So the rejection emails will probably go out a couple days afterwards…
sigh oh well, even though I knew there was no chance, I am still sad

@storyguy, you can actually e-mail HR (granted you have the proper e-mail of a person), or even Matt and they’ll answer you personally.
As for the people tweeting about getting accepted for story, it’s one person, one tweet, so early in the evaluation process. (They supposedly didn’t start the reviews until Friday) If it were already all final, I feel like Matt would’ve tweeted something about it (the same way he did when they made the first cuts) The final decisions won’t be made until the the beginning of next week, I believe.

I know I’m still waiting on Publicity, others on Marketing, and I believe animation and story are starting to get rejection letters…What other internships are still waiting to hear back?

Editorial is still waiting. Although someone mentioned earlier that in previous years editorial has heard back in mid-May? For an internship that starts in June it’s too bad that the notice is so late.
I called Pixar yesterday and they were very helpful, she said we would all find out about our internships by May15th, and if we still haven’t heard we need to call them to confirm our status!! Good luck everyone

Does that go for ALL the internships?
I think that is the final date for all internships, but would like to believe story and animation will hear from HR a bit sooner.

Is there just a number for HR available on their website? I didnt think there was?
Not that I know of…
I’ve noticed they usually send correspondence stuff around 2 or 2:30pm pacific time. Anything past that seems to be mass-e-mails i.e. rejections.
if you wanna give HR a call, just call the main Pixar number and ask to connect to HR.
