I applied for production! Still haven’t heard back…
Hi all! So after talking to someone at Pixar, I was told that a publicity intern has already been hired. I am disappointed, but I have high hopes for the next year. Good luck to everyone!
Hey production applicants, here’s an update - I applied for the Production Management internship and was contacted Thursday for an interview tomorrow!
I applied all the way back in February/March and thought I wasn’t even being considered anymore, then this comes out of nowhere, haha.
Who did you talk to? Not asking for a name, but was it HR?
Hey guys, here’s an update for Story, around the end of last week I got a phonecall from HR about moving forward with the internship and they sent me an application for a background check. We’re supposed to talk again this week about the offer details. So I guess this means I got the story internship. Is this lack of interviews normal?
For the Story Internship, yes. But you don’t have it JUST yet I don’t think, gotta pass the background check, but as long as you’re “clean”… Congratulations!
Has anyone heard any updates on the animation internship?

Hi! I have a few questions
Did you contact them or did they contact you? Do you know if this was just for publicity or marketing as well? Are they only hiring one person per position? And, did they mention why they haven’t taken down the application if they’re full?
Anyone else apply to marketing and hear anything?
I contacted them, and I only asked specifically about publicity and my application, so sorry I can’t offer much information beyond that!

Does anyone think that the Disney Animation internships will also be concluded by May 15th? And I still haven’t received a rejection letter for PUP, are they not mass emails? I guess I’ll get that then too?
Most of the internships start on June 1st, so won’t they leave time for people to prepare?
Nope! Just a cold email.
I think we can hope for a May 15th date, but I’ve been told that final decisions haven’t been made yet. My feelings are we’ll know next week.
Just received a rejection for the Systems Mac Team Intern position. Still waiting to hear from the other positions I applied for here. Not sure if my profile updated before or if they were looking at my resume that I first posted, cause I updated my resume but there’s no new update on my profile after that even after I got my rejection for that. Oh wells. Still hoping for a chance at the other positions.
I’m assuming Human Resources Pixar University has accepted a new intern. I officially got my rejection letter this afternoon. I applied for three other business internships so hopefully I’m more qualified for those positions. Here’s to hoping one is an acceptance!

Hi! Sorry, so I read the e-mail wrong so I actually got rejected for the internship position for Pixar University. I applied February 1st for the Pixar University intern position. Here’s to hoping that I get accepted into a different internship role that I’m more qualified for!
Hi everyone! I’m hoping someone can answer me a question I have about the internship positions.
I applied for a few of the Pixar internships like everyone else one of which being the Story Internship but like a lot of people I found that I didn’t get in a few weeks ago, during the whole May 1st deadline debacle. Anyway since then I would log into my account on the Pixar site just to see if any changes were made. Like always it would list the position titles I applied too, last time it was updated and so on. Yesterday however I noticed something different. For position title of the story internship it now lists it as Story Internship - Summer 2015 (1 of 6). The (1 of 6) is the new part added to the title and I was hoping to see if anyone knew what that meant.
yeah that’s showing up on mine too. I’m curious about it. I wonder if it means there’s only 6 slots.
