Wow, a 300 page Pixar encyclopedia! That’s the first I’ve heard of one. That should be interesting, to say the least…
I just wrote my early review of the Pixarpedia book! It comes out in the US on Aug. 31st but I got a review copy.

But gettin to the PixarPedia, It wouldn’t be a terrible idea to make our own, if not for informative purposes then for fun! you know like Mygames said, for ourselves to read.
I would like to order it, but currently I ran out of money, so I’m gonna buy it next semester.

Well, it says that it is over 300 pages. So that would probably equivilate to a lot of money. I can’t wven make a guess right now.
I’d guess somewhere around the range of 40-50 bucks. Possibly less, but I wouldn’t bet on it, I expect it’ll land around 55 bucks at most. Regardless, I need to get my hands on it, and later on this year, the Pixar Treasures is coming out as well, October I believe. Man, I wish I had more money to spend,…
It’s only $26.40 on Amazon right now. I don’t think it will be over $30 when it comes out.
It’s a really large heavy book, but its definitely worth the price! I have some pics of it in my review on PixarFanboy.com

It’s out! I picked it up at Barnes and Noble today when I was going to get the Art of Up! Great book, it was 40 bucks for me, but I got a B&N card, so it’s a bit cheaper. I’m sure you can find one at Borders as well, I think it JUST came out, so there should still be copies at a book store if you go.
Great read, and there’s a TON of info, especially for Cars, they have EVERY CAR’S NAME in there, it’s NUTS!
That sounds sweet ffdude. The nearest book store I know is Boarders. I hope they have it there. I have like aobut over 35 bucks in gift cards that I haven’t spent yet.

How recent is it? Information wise, I mean.
From what I know, it goes up to Up, and briefly mentions TS3 and Cars 2.

I think some Barnes and Noble stores got it early. I called my Barnes and Noble, and they said they’re getting it in a few days (as in, before August 31). Everywhere else should be on the regular date.
It has a full Up section, and it mentions TS3 (it mentions the plot very lightly) and Cars 2 (no plot details, just a mention). There’s a TON of info about characters, even the minor ones that have maybe 2-3 seconds of screen time, like people in the Incredible news reel (it puts almost every possible extra character in the book with a brief description) and the little girl in her room during the liftoff in Up, apparently her name is Dee!
There’s also a section about in-jokes and some employees in the back that’s really great to look through.
I picked the book up earlier today. It’s AWESOME!!!
I gotta have that book!!! Please be at Waldenbooks, please be at Waldenbooks!!! Better yet, I’m off to Amazon!!!
