I don’t really mind rain unless it’s cold and heavy.
I would sometimes stand out when it’s pouring in the summer.
With it being an average of 40 degrees everyday, it’s guaranteed to be like that. I’m going to die. ![]()
Right now it’s 30* where I am and I high will be 40* tomarrow.
I doubt we’ll get a White Christmas this year, as it’s been a little warm lately. It’s still a little early to tell though. And… I don’t like cold, heavy rain either.
Though I love summer evening storms, especially when it’s lightning on the horizon and there’s a tornado watch. Times like those it gets exciting because of all the danger, and yet at the same time it’s relaxing because the air feels so nice and the sky looks so beautiful.
Has anyone gotten cards from family yet?
^We’ve gotten some. Most have been from friends though. ![]()
Oh, and my dad and I went to his company’s Christmas dinner party last night. We had a pretty good time. It’s always fun getting to hang out with all his coworkers, they’re a great group of people. ![]()
Nope, not yet.
We din’t send cards. We do send some pictures so one of my aunts that will put one of them in a calender with other family pictures and give it to my grandme, my Dad’s mom.
Too much. ![]()
I get money from both my Dad’s Grandparnet’s and my Grandma.
we’ve gotten some cards from my parent’s friends, and some cousins. At home there’s probly not going to be a white Christmas, its suppoed to rain (i think it should be possible for it to be illegal to rain on Christmas)
only a little over a week until Christmas ![]()
I hate rain on Christmas and when it’s warm on Christmas.
Christmas cards are so nice!
We’ve only got a few so far from neighbors and friends, but we’ll have tons before New Years!
Rain on Christmas would be awful! We keep having those days where you wake up and it is dark and cool and rainy, then it stays dreary like that all day. You start to wonder if it is perpetually night! I do enjoy rain in the summer though, or like Jonah said, a hard thunder storm. I actually love going to sleep with the lightning flashing and the rain beating down. ![]()
I also like thunderstorms, but I hate it when thr tornado sirens go off.
Oh gosh, that would be scary!
We don’t have those here, though we did have a minor earthquake a couple years ago. I never expected one of those in Canada!
I’ve never experienced a tornado or any extreme weather before. We get strong wind where I live, but not tornado strong. There was an earthquake here about a year ago, but I was on vacation so I obviously didn’t feel it. ![]()
Well I have never seen a tornado in real life.
We never really get that extreme weather here. I know we had the earthquake and Irene here during the summer, but that was about it.
Well, everyone knows Florida’s famous for lightning (Lightning Capital of North America! Watcha.
) , storms, and hurricanes (although we got none this year). I swear, Florida’s bipolar. You walk into a store and it’s nice and sunny. 10 minutes later, you come out and it’s pouring rain and thunder. 20 minutes after that, it’s nice and sunny again.
It barely ever rains on Christmas but it is around 70-80 degrees. I’ve seen quite a few tornadoes that came from very bad hurricanes but they always disappeared quickly. Earthquakes never happen down here (If they did, the state would probably break off.
) but sonic booms were very frequent from the space shuttle which if you didn’t know it was landing was equally scary. speaks from very embarrassing experiences ![]()
