Hey Pixarteers, how’s it going? I missed you all, and now that it’s finally summer, I can visit this place and PP in general a whole lot more often!
Unfortunately, Jess and I broke up about a month ago. I wish I could say that we did it civilly and that we are still friends, but honestly it was a train wreck, it was super messy, and I’m really upset about the whole thing. In hindsight, neither of us handled it very maturely. I really don’t want to go further into it, but that’s just for anyone wondering whatever happened to me/her. (For the new members who don’t know who Jess is, she’s the founder of the Pixarteers. She stopped visiting PP a while ago.)
The whole thing has kinda prevented me from being able to enjoy my summer at all, but at least I know I get to see all my old friends here again. I’ll try to stick around and hope to keep seeing you all as the summer progresses!
Thanks, Ballboi! It’s a bummer that everyone’s so busy. You would think that people would be less tied up now that it’s summer, but then again, that would make me a hypocrite because I’m still pretty busy too.
Unfortunately, I work a full 40 hour workweek and I try to work out every evening, so it’s really hard for me to find the time. But there’s still quick a bit of free time in the evening, and if I’m not out somewhere, then I’ll probably be right here. (Like today!)

Ding! It has been quite a while, hasn’t it? Well, as you can see, none of us have forgot you buddy. Aw, I’m so sorry to hear that about Jess and yourself. I totally respect that you don’t want to get into it, I think it was kind enough for you to share something personal like that to begin with. I hope you feel better too but I know it will take time. Hopefully you can enjoy getting comfortable here again though.
Oooh fireworks! I suppose we’ll be having those for Canada Day soon. I hope I can see them too.
Yeah, we’re the Pixarteers. We aren’t much. It seems like people aren’t as active anymore. Many old friends have come and gone and I’ve never heard from them again. I miss a lot of people. But there’s also so many other people that I look forward to getting to know. No matter old or new, everyone here is incredibly nice and accepting. There are a lot of fond memories that I really miss, but still, this is the thread I know and love!
Im Back from my trip out Rt 66!! and im glad people have returned to refusing to let the threads die!!
my plans for the 4th are go visit the house my dad grew up in ( i never knew my grandparents on his side, but a cousen lives in the house and watches over it for us) and go watch the fireworks at a nearby park
and possibly go yell at my neighbors who have been setting off fireworks for a week even though it hasn’t rained in a month and there are burn bans for almost every county in the state… im ok if they do that the week of the 4th… but this isn’t that week… (sorry, mini-rant)
