Heh. What kind of scary teddy bears did you have as a kid?

Love the drawings, PV, especially the Vermin one. I think he looks creepy enough- especially with those glaring eyes!
PixarVixen - bows Yeah, I started the Vermin discussion thingy. It’s grown quite popular in the past two days… (sniggers)
I love your Vermin/cockroach character!! He’s absolutely perfect! I almost feel like making an avatar out of that drawing…
Dash - You’ve been watching too many scary movies. But yeah, the dragon is too “plushy”-looking.
Has anyone ever stopped to wonder if Bomb Voyage will be in Ratatouille? It’s a possibility…
Yeah it would be a cool cameo appearance.
I know.
PixarVixen should draw a cameo picture of him in the movie (Ratatouille)…
Not you, too! Just kidding. I guess creepy is not my style.

I love you pictures PixarVixen. Very well done.
Haha – that’s ok. I like your style – it’s cute enough for me.
This is the pencil draft of For The Birds.
You can see that while the little birds are panicking above, the big bird is oblivious to what is going to happen and keeps joyfully swinging its head.
I attempted using a bit of perspective in this scene. The little birds get smaller as you go down the wire to where the big bird is hanging on it. His head is bigger because he has swung it upwards.
The end birds on each edge of the drawing were kinda thrown in there. They’ll look better once the piece is inked and colored.

It looks great, PV!!
I love how you incorporated a perspective view into the drawing.
I know! Even to a non-artist such as myself, the absolute brilliance of that perspective was almost the first thing I noticed! I thought, wait a second, some of the birds are smaller than the others (my non-artisticness shining through), and then I realized that it was because you’d used a super-awesome angle, and done it perfectly. Don’t worry, the fact that it took me a split-second to realize that you were using a different perspective doesn’t mean that you did it badly, I’m just a fairly slow person at times.
Can’t wait to see it colored; I’m sure it’ll look even more brilliant once you’ve incorporated all the shading and shadows and everything into the angled-ness of it all.
Thanks, guys! I don’t think I did it perfectly though, Delf.

It’s more than good enough for me. Although, true, that isn’t saying a whole lot…
Aww, that looks great- I love the little worried bird, third from the right, I think.
Here is an idea for you PV. Draw a picture of all of the Pixar characters with Halloween theme.
Funny you should say that, TSS. I have 1 or 2 Halloween drawings involving Incredibles
characters on the way. I had planned on doing them last year, but school got a little crazy.
This is all I had time for last Halloween:

An Incredistich! Now that is clever. I really like it.
Thanks! I got the idea from the end of Lilo & Stitch.
Remember when Stitch put on Nani’s laundry to dress up like a superhero? Hahaha. It doesn’t get much cuter than that.

Haha – that’s really cute (and creative), PixarVixen!
Oh yes, I remember that part at the end of Lilo and Stitch. It’s one of my favorite “outtakes” at the end of the film.
Really? Oh my gosh I am so excited. I definitely can not wait to see them.
