When Linguini is talking with Colette and he says "I
have a secret. I have a ra…", what does Colette say after that?
I can’t understand it. Please be
comprehensive with me. I’m portuguese, and I’m still learning english at school. ![]()

Linguini starts to tell Colette “I have a rat”, but at the last second,
decides to protect his secret and slurs the word “rat”. So then Colette responds, "You have a
rash?" ![]()

THANK YOU!!! ![]()
And sorry if that was a dumb question… ![]()
I have a question too. It is also a
Collete question. Does she say "We’re French, or Friends in the trailer?
She says “we’re French”
Heheh – funny stuff.
![]()
Maggie - Nah, don’t feel too bad about it. I didn’t know what she
said either for a while. ![]()
He. He.
This is one of my favourite parts of this trailer. I thought she was just repeating what he
said. It’s so cute when he sniffs, don’t you think? (see my avatar) <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In
Love" />
Geez, I still need to watch it. I’ve seen part of it,
but my computer froze halfway through and I havent gotten around to seeing the rest yet.
Hehe - I can see that you really like Linguini.
Well, so do I,
he’s so cute… <3
Really? I thought he was going to blow the secret, but Remy was
scratching him or something to stop him…I’m not a very good watcher though (that stuff flies over me) – so
I’m probably wrong. ![]()
Yeah. One of the first things I
loved about him was how shy he was, and also his voice. Especially when he says "I can’t cook, can I? But
you. You can, …right?" It just sounds so dreamy. And when he says
“LET’S DO THIS THING!”, OMG. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In
Love" /> And don’t even get me started on Linguini’s freckles…
<3
I should stop now. ![]()
But I give big kudos to Patton Oswald, and Pixar who has done a
fantastic job on the voice work, as usual.
Sky - I know, that part was great! It was just so depressing, I felt
sorry for Linguini – somehow, the music, the slumped shoulders, and the flashes of "Disney
presents…" “A Pixar Animation Studios film…” just…hit me!
So I’m guessing he’s your
favorite Pixar Character now, am I right? ![]()
I have a trailer question. What are the songs used in the trailer?
I don’t know…sounds like some kind of Jazz in the beginning.
It sounds like Michael Giacchino, don’t you think?
Errr…I don’t know. I’m not much of a sound guy, but maybe!
Well, it has the same jazzy effect for the trailer like the Incredibles.
You mean
the US trailer? I think half of it was Michael Giacchino, and the other half was a song by Bobby Darin,
“Once in a Lifetime”. The lyrics really suit the whole theme of the movie.
Oh yes, I agree: the lyrics and backround score really fits the aura of the trailer and the film. Part
of it definitely has to be Michael Giacchino, as he did the main score for
Ratatouille.
Sky: Thanks for clearing that up for me. I would never have guessed it.
