question

My parents say I

totally worship Cars. :unamused: What about you guys? :wink:By the way do your friends know you like Pixar

movies?I’m afriad to tell because my schoolmates might laugh at me.

The Incredibles is the

Pixar movie I worship. :-D) Cars ranks as my second

to last favorite, but it has been growing on me lately.

To answer your other

question, practically everyone I know is familiar with my love for animation. Whether they do or don’t ridicule

me is no concern of mine. That’s what I like and that’s what makes me who I

am.

~~=oP

Well, my family knows how much I love

Finding Nemo, and I show it quite enthusiastically. You don’t even want to know how

many toys and memorabilia I have that has to do with the film. :stuck_out_tongue:

As for the second question: Well, I

don’t really have any friends. Henceforth, only my family and a few of my relatives know about my obsession –

heh.

Aww, Mitch!

You have lots of friends right here. hugs

~~=oP

PixarVixen - Aww…thanks, PixarVixen. hugs back

Yeah, this place is kind of like a third home to me, come to think of it. My second residence is in

Hogwarts…

When it comes to obsessions, I wished I loved The

Incredibles as much as you guys do. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a wonderful film! It’s just that

Finding Nemo can’t be topped by anything, in my world.

(snigger)

I don’t really obsess about any of Pixar’s

films. I love them all equally. The eception would probably be Ratatouille, and

it’s not even out yet.
The Incredibles will most likely be my second favorite

Pixar film, the first being Ratatouille. I guess I am obsessed! Haha!

Bill - Aha! Another Ratatouille lover! I almost forget

to mention how much I am already liking the looks of this film – thanks for reminding me.

Yes, I am

equally obsessed with this film, as well. My sister and I have watched the teaser trailer over 40 times, we have

seven/eight Ratatouille pictures up on our walls, and I have drawn numerous pictures

of Remy and various rats in particular. I also check the official website everyday just to see if anything has

been updated, and I have a blog on the film, as well.

Top that, Bill.

(snigger) No offense meant.

Another question do you have any autistic reletives ?I’m

soo sad because my big brother has it and I barley get a chance to see him :`-( .

I love CARS <3 but, i don’t worship it just think of

me as a HUGE fan

LAS: what are austistic realtives? I’m so Dumb! :stuck_out_tongue:

Off-Topic - I’m sorry about your brother,

LightingandSally – I can relate, because I have a mentally delayed sister. It’s so

frustrating, and yet…autistic/mentally delayed people are often some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet. But

yes, it’s sad. :frowning:

Perhaps you should make a separate thread concerning this mater…if you wish to

discuss it, for it is rather off-topic in this thread. Just a suggestion.

So do I. So you see,

you have something in common that we all have. If you love it, you love it. Be an obsessed fan if you have to.

And about friends knowing, I would just say, let it go. I won’t let what people think stop me from being a big

fan.

Yes, my family do know of my obsession, no matter how

much I tried to hide it. I thought it would just pass, but it quite obviously hasn’t, so both I and they have

learned to live with it now.

The same applies to my friends. All of my close friends know about my love

for Pixar and Randall, but some of my casual friends don’t. I try not to introduce it too quickly, as some

people may be a little weirded out, but when I know someone and trust them, I’ll tell them and then they can’t

complain whenever I rant about something Pixar related.

You

know L&S - it’s almost frightening the number of autistic people and people close to autistic I’ve met in

this fandom. My little brother is also autistic. But I suppose it’s natural considering hom many there are in

this world and how that number is growing.

Wow , you mean somebody didn’t think of this question yet ?

My parents

and my friends think i’m obsessed with Cars . BUt they got it all wrong . I’,m obsessed with the company .

I go to

an animation school and at times I feel like Im the only person with ANY interest in Pixar sigh. . . These

people seem more interested in WoW, counter strike and manga than anything else

Yeah everybody knows I love Pixar and love animation. And yeah pretty much everybody knows how crazed I am

about Cars. (same thing happened with Nemo) Whether or not that makes me shallow and pedantic i dont know, but if

I am I dont care and probably would be the first to admit it

You know, the fun

thing about being a fan is that it has quite a few good advantages:

1. You have something

to be devoted to, which “keeps you on your toes”, so to speak.

 1. No matter what anyone says

about your obsession, you always have this hankering that you are right, and nothing anyone says can stop you

from loving whatever you are interested in.

 1. You can have fun obsessing over something and look stupid

doing it…but you don’t care anyway!

The only time I don’t care what people think about

me is when I am convinced that I am right or when I love a certain subject that they don’t care about. Because,

really, who cares? You love what you love and no one can stop that.

I’m definitely a Pixar junkie, which all my friends know. But as obsessions

go… I’ve always been the crazy Star Wars fan. Star Wars will probably always be

my number one fandom. And the Joss Whedon shows are coming in second (Firefly, BUffy, and Angel, in order of

preference). Pixar movies I love… but I love them because I want to make them.

There is, I think, a big difference.

Yep, I am a Jedi Knight, through and through.

DWH - High-five! May Star Wars always reign throughout

the galaxy and beyond…

I’m quite a fan of the films myself – I’m going to the

Celebration IV this year, which should be a blast. My first ever convention! I’m

not as big of a Star Wars geek as my dad, though. He’s seen A New

Hope and “Empire” over 200 times… :stuck_out_tongue:

DWH: Star Wars is one of the films that many people have

turned into a cult. So we all have an obsession for something I can safely say.
