For the next era of Radio Pixar, we are going to focus on a lot more listener-generated content. So this thread is to let you guys know of details of what we want you to send in for certain episodes of the show. If we get a good response for this, we may have a “vox pops” segment for every episode of Radio Pixar from now on (so keep checking this thread in-between episodes).
Here’s submission information for the upcoming Episode 9:
Send your 20 - 30 seconds of audio finishing off this sentence:
“I’m excited for Up because…”
If you’re a member of this forum, make sure to mention your username, too! Email your audio submission in either WAV or MP3 format to radiopixar@pixarplanet.com. The deadline for entries is 11 days from the date of this post. Make the title of the email “Radio Pixar Submission”. Have fun recording your comments, and listen out for them on the next show.
Hey, this sounds like a very cool idea. I’d have to think of something epic to record before sending it in though. Hmmm, how can I tie Bruce Springsteen or Dexter’s Labratory into this…? Or maybe bagels…
I thought of submitting something, but I’ve contributed enough to the show already, I think. There’s only so many times that one can tolerate hearing my voice… probably… (snigger)
Oh, pish-posh, Mitch. Of course you can send in a submission! I encourage you to (if you have time).
And to everyone else, we haven’t gotten any submissions yet, and I’ll only include the vox pops segment if we get at least 3 - 4 entries, so make sure to send in yours, guys. The new Radio Pixar is going to be more about the Pixar fan community, so seize the chance to make it so. Don’t be shy - you’ll be famous.
Rachel - Eheh. Well, I might, since I now have some extra time to do so. We’ll see, although since no submissions have been sent in yet I wouldn’t want to be the only one to offer up something. Like I said, we’ll see…
To anyone sending in their submissions, please send me a PM after you’ve sent it to the email, so I can keep an eye out for it, and then if I don’t see it in my inbox, I’ll let you know.
