Ratatouille Books

Well, I don’t think the Art of Ratatouille will spoil

that much.

PixarVixen - My mom also

orders alot of stuff from Amazon.com, because it is, like you said, way cheaper than

most other stores around town…

And how come a How to draw the Incredibles

book wasn’t listed/made? That’s just not fair.

The Star Swordsman - I

agree – the most that it will reveal are new characters and perhaps a little bit of the plot-line. So, unless

one really doesn’t want to spoil anything for him/herself, then it is probably safe

to get the book before the film is released.

It shows pictures and new characters, and concepts too.

My word of advice is consider buying it before the film comes out. THat is, if you don’t want the risk of

spoilers.

The Star Swordsman - Spoilers smoilers. I’m going

to buy the book before-hand for sure. Despite that fact that it might (and probably will) give some information

away to us fans, I tend to acquire every scrap of information possible.

I wonder what kind of art will be featured in that book.

In the TI book, there were colagues, color scripts, digitals, story board art, etc.

The Star Swordsman - Hmm… Good question.

Coming from a

family of artists, I speculate that the book will contain these notable features:

Storyboard Art/Work
Rough Sketches (characters, layouts,

designs, etc.)
Concept Art
Eye-to-eye comparisons

(Remy/anonymous rodent characters vs. real rats, etc.)

These are only guesses, of course.

Who knows what else in hidden inside those pages?

I wonder what is in the other books.

If you go to

on there.

They took off this picture:

Ratatouille book. :unamused:

JV - That sucks. They changed the name, too. It is now an Rd

Innovative Book and Player Format. My head is spinning. :stuck_out_tongue:

I wonder why they took the

cover off? Perhaps it revealed too much information?

What other books are there?

TSS: The only other Ratatouille books we know of are the one’s I posted about on the 1st page

on this topic.

I see. I was hoping that more

wold be realeased soon.

The Star Swordsman - Don’t we all? Heheh…

The

book covers will probably be slowly released every four-five weeks, I suspect; although, judging by the fact that

one of the book’s covers has been hidden from sight, we may not see anything new in the

Ratatouille novel section if they are trying to keep it quiet…

I guess we will have to wait weeks before the film is released.

Yeah – it sucks, doesn’t it? :stuck_out_tongue:

Although, I do respect Pixar’s choice to keep their productions quiet until the correct moment. I

suspect that they just plan to let certain secrets leak out a month (or a few weeks) at a time. I guess they

figure that waiting is half the fun…and it is.

I agree. They try to amp all of us up before the film is released. Clever.

Very clever, indeed. I wish I worked at Pixar – heheh. But, then again, don’t we all?

I am beginning to wonder if more information about Ratatouille will leak out

along with the premiere of Arthur and the Invisibles (which is a film that will be

released on December 29th) – namely, a new trailer. I still have my hopes up.

I can imagine that

Pixar could make a Cookbook with Rataouille on the cover. Kids can create may different good foods with Remy’s

recipies.

Haha – why did I never think of that before? That’s a great idea! Speak a little louder and

they might just make it…

The recipes within the book could contain delicious morsels shown in the

film, animal-shaped treats, and (of course) ratatouille. I would definitely buy a book like that, even though I

absolutely despise cooking. (snigger)

I

know some of the books are going to be mini stories of the film, but not the entire thing.
