Ratatouille Books

A cookbook would be really nice. I was going to say that

recipes would be a great addition to the Ratatouille DVD, but the problem is that

the viewers probably wouldn’t be able to tell whether "The Making of

Ratatouille" refers to the process of making the movie or a tutorial on how to

make the dish ratatouille.

The Star Swordsman - Heh – yeah, I heard about that, as well. I know that there is

going to be a “Junior Novelization” book of the film.

CountSolo -

Well, maybe they could just call the cook book something else…like, “Remy’s Recipes” or

“Colette’s Cookery”?

I think it

would be cool to have a Ratatouille Alphabet Book.

The Star Swordsman - Aha – yes, that would be perfect!

We could make a game out of this – heheh.

I believe that a

How to Draw book featuring the characters of

Ratatouille will also be available to purchase sometime next year. I would love to

have that in my clutches.

I am

browsing through my TI books right now and I am trying to get an idea of Ratatouille books.

Sticker books? Paint/coloring books? Interactive books?

The possibilites are endless…

Maybe even a

puzzle book.

Oh gosh, I love those. They will

probably have a series of Ratatouille puzzle books, if they do make some. There are

even 3-D puzzles, so they may take advantage of that, as well, Ratatouille being a

computer animated film.

I just can’t wait for it. HOpe something

gets released soon.

Awww… That’s adorable.

the rats look really cute. When is this gonna be

released?

The Star Swordsman - If you

scroll down the page link (the one that JV provided) a little bit, you see that it says: "Publisher: Walter

Foster (May 1, 2007)". I assume that this is when the book will be released.

Come to think of it,

now that I have seen the cover/picture of this drawing book…I begin to see the resemblances between Remy and

Emille as brothers: same eyes, similar noses, etc…

Hey guys,

A member who goes by the name of

ShyViolet on the Animated News and Views forum supplied

us posters with the link above, and I found the books so charming that I just had to share it with you all. I

especially love the What’s Cooking? book for young children.

Money will be

pouring out of my pockets this summer! :stuck_out_tongue:

Awesome! Thanks Mitch!

Do you think the big guy is Chef Auguste

Gusteau?

JV - No

problem!

And yep – I have no doubt that that guy is most certainly Mr. Gusteau. If so, he’s exactly as I

pictured him.

I thought he was the short, napoleonic

person.

I believe the “…napoleonic person” to which

you refer is Skinner, voiced by Ian Holm.

Ah, thanks that really helped. And now that you mentioned Ian Holm, I get this

feeling that Chef Gusteau person is going to be voiced by Mr. Ratzenberger himself.

TSS: Brad Garrett is going to voice Chef Auguste

Gusteau not John Ratzenberger.
