Yay – a movie projector book! I absolutely love those
things! I used to look at film images through those little “binocular” things when I was a kid.
Remy looks so adorable in that chef’s hat, by the way. (heheh)
Thanks for the pictures and
information, JV, as always!
I don’t really like books based on movies. But my sister
already has the release date of Rat …I cant spell it on her calender. If she likes it I will buy her the book
since it would make her want to read.I don’t know much about this movie my sister is awaiting,I’m going to look
up some info now.

purpleyblue - Ah, now here
is where I can help you out, my friend! You are looking at the top-of-the-line,
Ratatouille expert. Please, let me show you around…
Here is the official
website which contains the basic plot of the film, the teaser trailer, and a downloadable poster:
Ratatouille Official Website
Next up is Pixar
Animation Studios’ official website and web page for the film:
Pixar’s Ratatouille Web Page
And, of course, you can’t
forget your books from Amazon:

Yeah! Now
that’s what I’m talking about!
Now see, this
is exactly the kind of book that I wanted to get concerning Ratatouille over any of
the other books on the subject. I love these in-depth, “know it all”, ultimate guide-centered tablets
– they give you practically everything you need to know about the characters and their environment.
And
now I finally get to see Remy in this full pose! So adorable… <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In
Love" />
Thanks,
JV! You always find the coolest stuff…
I gotta say one
thing about this DK book: I do hope it’s better than the Cars
one!
Cars: The Ultimate Guide (or something like that) was
just so kiddy…I just didn’t get much information out of it. Granted, it’s a kid movie, but PLEASE let this
one be more in-depth and detailed…
Like the Star Wars ones…Now they are
awesome!
Yeah, I got the same with the Monsters, Inc. 'Fact
Files, stakced with fantastic facts!’ Pff. But, who knows- maybe this one will actually contain some interesting
information!

Gasduude
and lizardgirl - Really? That sucks. The Finding Nemo Ultimate Guide
book is just the opposite – it contains alot of information about the characters and such.
But yeah –
hopefully, this Ratatouille inside guide will be worthy of a few bucks…
Right – The
FN one is waaay better.
I actually probably won’t buy to many Ratatouille books because (in relation to
the toys) there a lot of them and expensive. But the DK one will probably be an exception…
Well, here’s
hoping it’s good!

Same for me: I’m just gonna buy the books that are worth
my precious dollars, and oggle at the others that I shan’t purchase…
But yeah – I agree! Here’s
hoping… clinks glasses
Personally, ‘The Art Of’ books have always been the only Pixar movie books I have really
bothered with. If I order something off the internet, I’m always afraid that it will just contain things that I
have already seen and known, and usually the books are aimed at a younger age range.
Does anybody have an Amazon account so they can look at
the pages of this Ratatouille book, because I don’t:

JV - I’m a member, but when I clicked on the "See the inside of this
book/item" option…it wouldn’t let me view the pages. Huh – that’s odd…
Sweet, a learn to daraw Ratatouille sketch book! A lot of
artists here are probably dying to get their hands on that.

The Star Swordsman - Oh yeah
– I can’t wait to get my paws on that sketchbook. Then I’ll finally be able to
draw Remy on model… (snigger)
And the more
you use it, the more consistant you can be in your own drawings.
Who going to buy this book
[url=Amazon.com
8&s=books&qid=1176324143&sr=1-6]"The Art of Ratatouille, Limited Edition for $400?
Mitch
#98
The Star Swordsman - Yep – exactly.
JV -
Puh-ha! You’ve gotta be kidding me. $400 bucks? Dude, I could buy two Star Wars
lightsabers with that much money. (snigger)
Too bad I won’t be purchasing it. I would if I had the
dough – heheh.
Limited addition? Okay, 400 bucks is too much. Even for a limited one. That is just
crazy.
