I will purchase both the Target and Wal-Mart bonus disc packs…the Target pack for the film extras and the Wal-Mart disc so I have an item for Alton Brown to autograph when I see him Saturday.
To help you guys decide which way to go…
The character cast gift pack appears similar to this one, but it contains Skinner and Colette figurines.
The cookbook is available for purchase via Amazon.com.
I haven’t a choice unless I want to pay for two copies- I already pre-ordered the one from the Disney store. Because they asked and I could not resist …
You beat me to the punch with the Target info!
Well, I’ll go for the Target version too I guess. I actually wasn’t even going to buy the US version and just opt for the Canadian Steelbook version from Futureshop (a friend is going to pick it up for me) but I guess for $15.99 I can get two versions…
Don’t know if this applies to Ratatouille, but I was looking in this weeks Wal-mart flyer where they have a deal with Disney where you get 50 extra points for the Disney Movie Rewards club with select Disney DVDs and Blu-ray, but only shows a few films (although it says more in store), but is seperated from the ad for Ratatouille. So, don’t know if it’ll include Ratatouille. But, I don’t know, if I was going to get the DVD, I would still go with the Future Shop steelbook, but I think I’ll pop by work on Tuesday and pick up the Blu-ray (If we get it in, we haven’t recieved it, but we got a stack of boxes that are clearly marked Disney and dated Nov. 6, although no other labels reveal what’s in those boxes- I’ll definitly check tomorrow when I’m in).
I will be purchasing the Ratatouille DVD and Pixar Short Films Collection DVD this Tuesday at Target. I hope the Target “extra DVD” is worth taking the trip to Target and giving my extra Ratatouille DVD as a gift to somebody.
I already pre-ordered the Ratatouille DVD off Amazon.com. The price dropped a whole dollar (Wow!) since then Customer Service called me and told me they were adjusting the price that whole dollar. I was impressed by the level of customer serivce that Amazon offered. I figure the Blu-Ray is not worth buying quite yet, I can rent the Blu-Ray (and use my roommate’s beloved Blu-Ray player) and decide later, though.
The Target version looks cool, but I’ve already shelled out 15$ at Amazon.com - meaning I’d have to pay twice to grab that extra-disc. I look forward to hearing how good that bonus is.
I really want the Target one. It’s not the 2-disc we were hoping for, and I bet the extras are minimal but it’s better than nothing. I also want to see the chef’s hat and apron from CC.
Yahoo! Education’s dictionary states a rain check is “an assurance to a customer that an item on sale that is sold out or out of stock may be purchased later at the sale price”. In other words, as soon as the retail exclusives are gone, they’re gone for good.
Cool. Although it’s annoying the way you have to buy it at certain places to get those extra features. Or multiple places if you want everything. I dont have a real urge to chase those all over town like I did with Cars so whatever version I get for Christmas (yeah, i’m content waiting till then) I’ll be happy with.
Hmm… I’m beginning to wonder the source of the information… How valid can it be when you can’t find any info online? Target.com doesn’t mention anything about a bonus features dvd…
