Ratatouille DVD!

One feature I think would be cool and is possible is you remember that progression reel for Ratatatouille? With that you can switch between storyboards, layout, animation, lighting/shading for that scene. What would be even cooler is that for the whole movie. Watching Ratatouille in storyboards might be fun.

I have always wanted to see this feature in a Pixar film, but they’ve never done anything like that, unfortunately. Hopefully, Ratatouille will an exception, though I highly doubt it. It doesn’t hurt to keep dreaming, though!

Uhh…guys? I’m really hoping that DVD cover is a fake. Just check out the back! It has a special features box on the left side. I can’t read the features, but by the looks of things, there are only four of them. If this is in any way real, then I would expect about as many bonus features as were on the Cars DVD, if even that!

Wasn’t The Incredibles dvd released on November 4th? I could be wrong…

That was its theatrical release, if I’m not mistaken.

The Incredibles was released theatrically on November 5th, it hit DVD on March 15th.

Ratatouille will hit DVD on November 6th. =)

Ratatouille DVD Info!

You might have already known that the Ratatouille DVD will come out Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in the USA, but what you might not know is what will be on the DVD, right? Well sources tell me that the DVD will have an all new never before seen original piece called “Your Friend the Rat” in 2-D animation! The DVD will also have interviews with Brad Bird and some of the artists who worked on Ratatouille. Sources also tell me that the deadline for the DVD was a few weeks ago.

I’m predicting, and my sources seem to agree, that the November release will be avalible in at least three favours (yes, pun intended). A single disc and two disc versions, both in widescreen (with the possibility, but by surprise not confirmed yet, a foolscreen version might be avalible in single disc only). And then finally, a day & date blu-ray release, which should be a rare two disc set.

Thanks for the “inside scoop” Mister Incredible! I honestly don’t care whether the only two-disc is in widescreen. I don’t even have one, but all my other Pixar films are in that aspect ratio.

Taking the Ratatouille DVD into consideration, I have to say that that…is the coolest looking DVD cover I have ever seen in my entire human life. I want it… I need it, man! (snigger)

I saw the ratatouille DVD cover. I think it loks really cute and colorful, however, I have this feeling of puting Emile in the cover somewhere. Still it looks like a pretty good cover.
